>literally pulled my Battle Chest copies out of the closet a few days ago thinking of giving the campaigns another whirl
WELL OK FINE THEN.
BUT I'M NOT TOUCHING THE ONLINE, I'M NOT GOOK ENOUGH FOR GOOKCRAFT.

Yeesh, me too. Partly because it was about time to do a re-play, partly because the Remastered/upscaled edition is coming out and I wanted a basis for comparison.
Not that I'm complaining, mind. Still cool of them to do. Now, if only they'd do the same for Diablo 1, 2, Hellfire (yeah, I know, Sierra), and LoD.
That'd about make my year (well, that or a PC Armored Core).

I actually pulled out my Diablo 2 Battle chest days before I did that for SC just to sate my loot grind craving.
They're all fun games still, but I think modern day dungeon crawlers spoiled me on gigantic inventories, the D2 inv feels nearly nonexistent by comparison. And SC I've never bothered to master the art of macro so I just kinda hoard and turtle and try to out-tech which doesn't feel like a winning strategy much.
what's the install size?

pretty small by today's standards i'd suspect.
Probably worth mentioning there's also the "Mass Recall" mod for SC2 which puts the singleplayer campaigns from SC1 into SC2's engine.

Reminder, that pro-scene Koreans Starcraft 1 play is still a thing. Twice weekly the Afreeca Starleague matches. Typically around 5-6 AM EST. There's English commentary too.

>that StarCrafts zerg plushy being advertised in the background
Man, Carbot struck gold.Carbots animation are the only SC2 stuff I pay attention to anymore.
