>play character 3 times 40 years ago
>try to distance yourself ever since then
>always calls his own ideas terrible as well
And he literally LITERALLY says in the video
>I fundamentally disagree with virtually everything you've decided about my character. That might be a good sign because I was really wrong about 7..."
Try harder /tv/
>>15449979
there's already a shit wars thread on the catalog, stay on /tv/
Is luke a sith?

4 times. The christmas special was a thing. Opinion disregarded.
>>15450081
Is that the one where Chewie's dad is watching VR porn?

> Hamill tried to distance himself from Star Wars ever since then
Bullshit. He's the one member of the cast who most embraced having been in Star Wars. He's talked about it regularly in interviews and at cons, gone to Star Wars conventions, done parody works, voiced Luke in audio dramas and so on over the years. He didn't get a successful movie career of it, and instead went in to voice acting but he's never tried to distance himself from it. If anyone, that was Fordd.

Agreed.
Hamill seems to be a pretty big nerd, unlike Ford. So I can see him being glad to embrace his role in Star Wars history.

>Hamill seems to be a pretty big nerd
He spent his childhood doing nothing but reading comics (which is why he wanted to voice Joker in the first place) of course he's a big nerd
Man these days he really doesn't try to hide how much that accident fucked up his face
>>15449979
> my character
Who does he play again?
>>15451176
Well if we go by the old EU, the greatest Jedi who ever existed EVER....until Revan was written. And Revan was THIS close to becoming canon through Clone Wars.
All he wanted was to go into Tosche Station and pick up some power converters. Instead he got this shit.
>>15451063
He has voiced Luke in quite a few parodies and video games too.
>>15451194
To think, imagine a world where he got those power converters. What if it's like the Tem Ray Circuit of X-Wing upgrades?
>>15451205
> Luke doesn't have to clean the droids
> Goes into Tosche Station and picks up some power converters
> Doesn't meet Ben Kenobi
> Doesn't become a Jedi
> Becomes an engineer instead
> Uses power converters to develop alternate way to defeat the Death Star because he's the chosen one
> Science triumphs over hokey religions and ancient weapons
Mark's looking pretty good these days, he must have gotten /fit/ for the new trilogy.
>>15450088
Yep.
And his little brother and mom iirc. An hour and a half of *untranslated* wookie-speak sprinkled with psychedelic dance numbers and a couple of scenes of Han and Chewie sitting on folding chairs in front of a black cloth because they didn't have a Millenium Falcon cockpit set.
Also the first appearance of Boba Fett (in cartoon form).
>>15449979
goddamn that interview is banal

>Luke invents funnels instead of using a lightsaber
>Eventually develops a magical space T.
