I like BLR a lot, especially the claw system on the back but I think the anatomy is a bit off. Original Barbatos is still the best IMO.

It's the style/design they wanted for the series. I personally loved it, it felt refreshing. The anatomy with Lupus Rex is bad yeah, I think the long arms and huge feet are the problem.

Personally prefer the HG's retarded proportions desu. The "beastly" vibe comes across better with the size disparity. The 1/100's proportions just dilutes that feeling heavily, and just makes BLR look like a beefy footballer as far as I'm concerned.

Lupus would be GOAT if the side thrusters weren't so huge and it kept the v-finn of the head and its surroundings less complex like the vanilla form. Also I gotta say that I have a huge bias for spears so that gives BLR a huge boost with me, even though I think it is a bit overdesigned.

To put it in simply enough that even you can understand it, the frames are made of Super-Metal and the armor is Super Super-Metal. The armor is just extra protection for an already more than tough enough frame.

Hell, most of the melee weapons in the show are made of the same material as the frames.
