It doesn't add anything. It even loses the aesthetic of cool Titans suits in favour of everything being a backpack for generic waifu Gundam. Also it's started taking up slots in Converge that should have gone to better classic MS, so it can fuck right off.

AoZ used to be kind of a weird pet project for gunpla MSVs that were specifically designed to fill the place between MSG and Zeta. Then it started getting a lot of art and kind of spun off into its own weird fantasy land of deep Mars and Jupiter variants and testbeds for future systems because shit like Sentinel and 0083 started getting incorporated more heavily suit wise.

Now it's kind of in this weird post Unicorn and pre F91 state of super insanity where they're making testbeds for late UC stuff on Mars and around Jupiter.

That's why you see Barzams with Unicorn style Gundam head fold outs and the new version of the Hazel with F91 style GOES FAST systems that burn it apart.

Forty seven years ago humanity, with the aid of warp travel, managed to finally colonize the Alpha Centauri system, marking the end of the Sol Century and the beginning of the Centaurian Century.

It is the Centaurian Century M.0047. Twenty years after the colonization of Alpha Centauri, the Sol Federation was replaced by the Autarchy of Sol, humanity lived in a time of uneasy balance. The Autarchy started out as a sanation movement in order to cure the rot that rolled in the corrupt Federation, yet the former turned soon into something worse than the latter. With the Autarchy growing more tyrannical, the Centauri Colonies feared that they'd loose their freedom if they were to fight against someone with superior numbers. Yet there was hope.

Inspired by the stories of the now non-existent Gundams, the Mobile Suits that ended the wars and paved the road to the Centaurian Century, the brightest engineers decided to resurrect them in more powerful forms in order to make up for the lack of suit pilots. Utilizing advanced Mobile-Doll controls, as well as Mobile Armor and cruiser designs, the Gundams were reborn.

Ensign Andrew Tamao is a promising cadet and was selected due to his impressive skills as squad leader and tactician to participate in project Titan. When he meets up with four other cadets on the military space port of Svensgaard, the place is attacked by a Autarchian Spec-Ops force. With a small garrison being insufficient to fend off the force, Tamao and the cadets decide to board the Mobile Suits they were supposed to run, yet to their shock, the vehicles they were supposed to pilot were the size of ships. With no option left to them, the cadets have to pilot the specially designed Mobile Armors called Gundams and at the same time control their squadrons of specialized Mobile Dolls to protect the Centaurian Colonies from the Autarchy of Sol.

On one hand I despise wholeheartedly all of their mobile armors and all the shit they love to tack on to grunts.
