Yeah? UC MS have that boxy look to them that makes them more appealing. They also don't have fucking bird wings. Fucking hate that shit, Wing Gundam and Freedom Gundam are the worst because of this. Although I do like plane wings, Strike and Impulse Gundam come to mind although without wings they look like pretty bland UC Gundams. Aries is the best non-UC MS I've seen so far.

F91 has these fins that protrude from the shoulders that maybe vaguely resemble feathers? I still wouldn't call them wings.

V2's minovsky drives allow it to generate the "Wing of Light", which are essentially very beam sabre emitters that can be manipulated to a high degree.

It's named that because that's what he's using the Wings of Light for.

They are literally called the Wings of Light. Just because it can be used as a protective cloak doesn't mean they're not wings. That's like arguing that Wing Zero Custom's wings aren't wings because it can wrap the gundanium wings around to protect itself.
