>Crusher Joe BD comes out.
I guess it is really great to be a newfag in our times.
What would be next, /m/?
So far, Dai Apolon will start getting BD sets, oddly enough.
go-shougun later this year apparently, which is pretty cool
I think it's the earliest super robot "parody"

Did we ever get a Dirty Pair BD?
>>15405791
Probably? I want Gall Force either because DVDs are too bad.

>Project A-KO literally never
Such gorgeous, iconic pieces of animation all lost to management buffoonery...
>>15405864
>management buffoonery
What happened?
>>15405794
>Gall Force
I don't understand it. Why is it taking so long for this to get BDs when it was a franchise that spawned many movies/OVAs? Even Mospeada got blu-rays.

>iconic
Let's not go too far now
>>15405884
Mismanagement of source, nothing new
>>15405781
don't forget we are getting dunbine this year
>>15408867
Dunbine BD? Yay!
>>15405786
>I think it's the earliest super robot "parody"
Huh?

To elaborate: while the premise seems regular enough (adults using a combiner mech to protect a special kid and fight an evil syndicate), the execution is sillier than normal. All the underling generals have their own quirks and charmingly simple motivations (most notably the guy signaling his entrance with the Blue Danube), the lady of the team has a personality like Minky Momo (with the same VA at that), and a Gundam parody was once reprogrammed to become self-aware and killed itself.

I think he means "iconic" to those that got into the stuff via scifi channel.
