Heroic Age was also 10 years ago. April 1 2007.
I thought it was a pretty awesome space opera that we haven't seen the like since.
So come let us remember all the times space godzercules punched shit
and 10 years since Aneesha's ass.
I like when that shithead Jupiter finally got what he deserved
>>15398226
Also that' Admiral's tits.
>>15398226
She got it going up there, as well.
>>15399269
I miss Adrmirable sensible rack most of all
got some stuff to share now that Im on my home PC
I love everything about the Argonaut. Massive self sufficient space ships really get me going
Hedron shields were pretty damn neat.
Admiral Tits command station. With giant sphere cannons
I really don't understand why this show got so little fanart. There's like two pics of Yuuti and that's it.
>>15398226
Who?
>>15404045
The princess's chief handmaiden. Reddish hair, had a thing for Iolaus.
>>15405309
Im glad she won the Iolusbowl in the end. And she got Hedron shields. Talk about complete victory.
this show had some great asses
>>15405842
Had some right dicks too.
Hey.
Hey Iron Tribe.
Fuck you.
>>15405879
Eat a dick, silver fagot
>>15405888
Copper Tribe here, y'all are bitches.
Let me see if I got this correctly, this is basically Ideon, but with Greek mythology flavor?
>>15401713
That's... a interessing combination for a SRW, actually.
>>15406142
Ehhhh... no. They are similar in space setting and powerful giantthat can potentially destroy the universe if (and a big IF) it gets pissed enough, but that's it.
>>15406142
It's more Hercules + Starcraft + Godzilla, made to work reasonably well together by what I can only assume is witchcraft.
I'm interested, perhaps I should watch this show. 2007 was good times.
>>15406305
Well, Ubukata is in the writing staff, so that helps.
>>15406305
I wish we got more sci fi re-imaginings of various mythological stories. Even Zone of the Enders was superficial name dropping at best.
>>15406344
Do it, anon. This show is Gold (tribe).
It's crazy how much I loved the Nodos designs in this series, space hercules godzilla was the GOAT.
Too bad there aren't any good sound clips of the Nodos cries out there, they were well done.
>>15398216
Heroic Age was like that one robot show where I found the MC's "robot" far more infuriating than the MC. Why was Belcross wearing that shit-eating expression while killing cute enslaved Bronze bugs and surviving everything thrown at him? Cunt.
Human characters like that princess's brothers were bad too.
Age on the other hand was a pretty nice monkey boy.
>>15407831
>Why was Belcross wearing that shit-eating expression while killing cute enslaved Bronze bugs and surviving everything thrown at him? Cunt.
The Bronze Tribe, for the most part, was in it for a fight. The one time he was beating up bugs who didn't have anything to do with the war he stopped the moment he realized what was going on, remember?
>>15407831
Age was a adorable monkey boy.
>>15407831
>Why was Belcross wearing that shit-eating expression while killing cute enslaved Bronze bugs and surviving everything thrown at him? Cunt.
The whole Brave Tribe where fight crazy lunatics who nearly destroyed the entire galaxy before the gold tribe stepped in and slapped their shit. They lived for combat.
The whole reason they where sealed away inside people like age was so they could develop a conscience.
Also read some damn Greek myths Herc was no stranger to Hulking the fuck out and just murdering everyone.
>>15408807
>They lived for combat.
I just like to just think of them as a whole race of oversized Legendary Super Saiyans.
>>15409193
A race of Super Saiyains where everyon is a tweaked out brolly
>>15400321
Yuuti was Best Girl.
Although Deianera wasn't so bad. Probably the only 'Peace Princess' I've been able to stomach.
>>15413291
The fact that she actually lives up to the hype she gets and does shit pretty often without it being totally out of nowhere helps.
>>15413738
>>15415138
Still annoyed at the subbers for that scene.
>>15415532
it's been 10 years anon, the series has long since been on BD
>>15398216
I liked Heroic Age solely on the basis that Bellcross reminded me of Soulgain and Zeorymer.
>>15416396
Does the twins shower scene still have them in swimsuits?
>>15416602
Nah, man the BD version of that scene is way different. The use their TK to splash the sides of the shower in pain so no one can look in and then they strip naked and start making out in front of a confused Age and after a while they all start cleaning each other off making sure to get every bit.
Yes it was the same
>>15406922
>tfw closest you'll ever get with good shit was Asura's Wrath on Asian ones like Buhdism/Hinduism and even then it was mostly inspiration rather than retellings
>>15416566
I suddenly want to scour the show for webm material.
>>15416615
>Yes it was the same
A pity.
>>15416650
I have the whole soulgain transformation in gifs and made a webm of Bellcross fucking the bronzies for the first time.
>>15416669
Shit, not soulgain, too much SRW.
I meant Bellcross.
>>15416650
The giant fuck off ship canon is what springs to my mind
>>15416669
I'm thinking in terms of Iolaus' Organ teleporting, Jupiter exploding or the various Brave tribe members fighting would be good, though him transforming is good too yeah.
>>15416699
Here you go, gif 1/3.
Gonna link the actual webm of Bellcross fucking shit up later if i can find it.
>>15416713
2/3
>>15416719
3/3
this was nice
>>15416615
>>15416663
Between this and MJP, Hirai sure has an odd coincidental habit of working on shows that don't rely on an uncut nudity marketing ploy.
>>15419062
don't remind me. lousy stinking fog
>>15420620
Someone page Dancouga Nova, I hear they know a fog sweeper.
Age did pretty well for himself considering he was raised by a self checkout cash register.
>>15400321
I would've enjoyed it if Yuuti was the heroine too.
>>15421832
Hey at least he wasn't one of those kids who grew up raised by a nintendo. they turn out weird, man.
>>15421832
>>15422194
I don't get it
>>15422293
What's to get?
Bumping the thread to keep it alive for another day or so while I make some decent webms. First effort as a consolation prize and something to make it less than a simple, empty bump.
>>15425211
Sometimes I forget how much I like hedron shields. Even that brief glimpse of one as Bellcross ignores it was nice.
>>15425211
Do Telebro's "I put a nuke in your core" trick.
>>15425211
>The way it shivers in absolute terror before the might of the nodos.
>>15425341
Any idea what episode it was? I'll make it in a few hours when I'm finished work if I can find it.
>>15425211
I can't help wondering what the hell was going on on their planet to evolve into beings able to create blackholes or rewind time.
>>15421832
>Please select the number of bags you wish to purchase.
>MOM, you're embarassing me in front of my friends!
>>15426347
18
>>15427482
Hope this satisfies. Feel free to suggest more moments. I recall liking the show, but I haven't watched it in years and have no idea of what cool moments their are beyond vague memories. I'd forgotten this one entirely for instance.
>>15427964
Made a v2 to get rid of that line of text at the start of the first version, since knowing it was there was annoying me.
>>15427964
Iolaus teleporting in and shooting that one guy point blank with two guns was pretty neat, though I'm not sure if it'd make a good webm. It was quite near the end, IIRC.
>>15428001
>>15428247
>>15428254
>>15428260
>>15428265
>>15428270
>>15428294
I really like this little sequence for showing the Organ spinning up some teleportation devices. Iolaus is the one that can teleport if I recall, but the Organ must have some tech to help or something.
>>15428351
>>15428247
Still satisfying.
>>15428351
Yeah, they had that with the twins' mechs as well (I think they generated shields?) and the Argonaut itself had a specific psychic receiver to get data from Deianeira's astral projection. There wasn't a huge amount of it throughout the show, but the integration of psychic powers and tech felt really well executed. Probably the best fitting together of those two that I've seen.
>>15428270
I love that little nav unit. He's just so happy to be a gun
