Some retard artist who was interviewed said that they wanted to step away from the idea of mechas and dont want titans to be called them. But really he was talking about slow western mechs and not the fast shooty mechs. the hitscan weapons don't simulate a projectile, they're just point and click lasers. Problem is, they also have miniscule time to kill so they are no skill death machines which always outclass the more fun and interesting projectile weapons.

Yes, unfortunately. It's really fucked because the game is mechanically great. Just an extra couple shots on hitscan weapons would suffice but then redditors would cry about it. It's especially awful on console with hard aim assist on hitscan weapons which completely eliminates recoil or need to actually aim
