You are correct that I'm a misogynist, but I don't hate either of those shows. Destiny had some plot issues (mostly the absurd stupidity of Orb suddenly wanting to join the Feddies) but SEED itself was quite good aside from the reused footage and Hiraiface, and IBO has been a great ride. A bunch of hyper-macho males being ruthless with the only notable female presence in the show being harem wives who insist that their place is to collectively submit to the man who is their savior (both the Turbines girls and Kudelia/Atra) and the one motherly "won't somebody think of the children?" milf that everyone told to shut up.

IBO is a total mess, badly executed, with alot of bullshit made simply for poor drama, and done poorly anyway,and with some incredibly bad and insupportable characters in the main cast, but this is the director fault. If i was to consider only the series original idea made by Okada, I would say that is pretty great, fresh and interesting.

Honestly I think the writing is often the best part of IBO. It has a lot of great ideas and stuff I legit like. the show just executes it like shit. I also hate everything else a lot more.
