There's going to be newtypes, psycho frames so Gundams can be cool and do magic, and Bright and Kai will show up every now and then.

Neither did Zeon. Spacenoids Supremacy was just a thing Gihren believed, and even he only mentioned it a handful of times. Leaving Earth alone was Zeon Zum Deikun (and Char's) thing, not Zeon the faction. I'm not even sure it's ever mentioned in 0079. It's really only expanded on in sequels, and even then Char was the only leader to put any stock in it.
