Get good guns, keep em.
Then grind MR by buying a new gun, grinding it to rank 30, ditch it, buy a new gun, do it again and again to raise your MR more so you can buy more guns.

Do Second Dream and The War Within, then wait for the inevitable reveal of what exactly is a warframe(Though we already have a lot of hints as to what is a warframe)
