Are Unicorn's Sleeves the chronologically latest neo-zeon/zeon remnant uprising in current UC canon?
Mars Zeon was a thing.
>Zeon couldn't singlehandedly-destroy OZ in a week
TOP KEK OZ PIG SHIT!!!
Oh believe you me, us Zeeks are ITCHING for a war with OZ. We will fucking ANNIHILATE your dirty military. There wouldn't be a square meter of OZ space that has running water, electricity, or petrol that isn't on fire, once our ground force and navy is done Mobile Armoring your defenseless space. Then, our army boys (we'd send the Earthnoids and other mongrel races first) would swoop in, raping your women, and killing EVERY OZ pig shit they see. When Zeon's done with you, we will have committed acts of genocide. Of course no one is gonna do shit about it
No.
>>15326006
Yeah (discounting the Mars guys) tho honestly Char's Neo-Zeon was the real last thing
The Sleeves were just a few dozen guys that caused some firefights here and there
Mars zeon are still the last holdouts chronologically not counting shit like the chimps in crossbone.

I'm shocked that F90 hasn't been adapted yet, even though it has Zeon in it.
>>15326123
I guess Sunrise simply doesn't like late UC at all
Apparently Char is in F90 but as an A.I.
>>15326123
Unfortunately, F91 and Victory didn't do well on their initial releases, so I doubt they'd animate it. Thought it would be nice to see an OVA of it.
>>15326235
Not an AI per se, at least not in the manga. Don't know how they handle it in the games.
There's 2 F-90 prototypes, both have learning computers. One has data from Amuro and the other has data from Char.
It's treated as a throw-away reference, it isn't of any importance and never comes up again.
There's also some Zeon remnants that show up in Silhouette Gundam 91. They're not a military force in this case though, they're a group of refugees hidden away in an abandon colony. An EFSF extremist tries to exterminate them and the protagonist stops him.
>>15327160
They literally refer to it as an AI.
>>15327280
Considering the Gundam was able to pilot itself at the end yea the original learning computer is an AI too.
>>15327333
Not really. We don't know if it was a recorded macro or if it actually gained some sense of sentience or sapience. Given that Amuro was not surprised at it moving, I don't actually think it developed into an AI.
>>15326054
Fucking deluded Zeek, my boy Leo here is a 50 year old work military work horse by Wing, and he COMES WITH A BEAM RIFLE STANDARD!
You know, the same weapon the White Devil single-handedly one-shotted half your mobile suit forces with?
Good old Leo had been fighting with them for nearly as long as your "organization" had existed...
>>15327457
Ok shitposting aside, did the leo really use beam weaponry? I thought they used ballistics.
>>15327462
They do, I think its mostly used on the space types though. Also the Dober Gun shoots beams as rule of cool demands.
>>15327462
Yeah, they had either a machine gun or a beam rifle as standard weapons, along with a beamsaber too.
They could also be equipped with dober guns which could fire both beams and ballistics. I don't know how it works, but it does. Don't remember whether these shoulder guns fire either.
>>15327469
>>15327472
I see. Offense put out, the Leo would clearly win. However, I feel like maneuverability and defense wise, the Zaku II would win. Leo is a glass cannon among grunts.
>>15327462
>Ok shitposting aside, did the leo really use beam weaponry? I thought they used ballistics.
Yep, while I was mistaking their 105mm Rifles (The ones with the ammo tanks) as beam weapons, they did have Beam Rifles (They're nearly identical, but with a box magazine instead), as well as being able to use the Taurus' Beam Cannon.
>>15326123
>Zeon remnant
>also has a Gundam
I'm surprised too.
>>15327482
>I see. Offense put out, the Leo would clearly win. However, I feel like maneuverability and defense wise, the Zaku II would win. Leo is a glass cannon among grunts.
Yeah, but you have to remember that a Leo is pretty much the Zaku I of After Colony; The first successfully mass-produced Mobile Suit.
Thus, a Leo is the bare basic of what they'd be facing.
>>15327457
Only the space version has a beam rifle as standard, and it was a dinky thing that couldn't really one-shot other machines like a real beam rifle. At best it'd fuck up another Leo in one shot, but it couldn't even go all the way through a Leo. I think Hilde shot a Taurus with one in the back and it didn't blow up, it lost control and then crashed on the surface of the moon.
>>15327513
>The one time a Leo does something is when the MC is piloting it and it's against other Leos
Those poor guys can never catch a break
>>15327469
>>15327472
Actually, it seems that only the Tallgeese's dobergun can fire both beams and shells. In the show, the Leo's dobergun -usually- fires shells. The difference is implicated in databook entries.
http://www.mechatalk.net/viewtopic.php?p=336373
>Tallgeese: "Thanks to its long barrel and beam firing speed, it can shoot accurately even at long distances. The Leo wields long-range weapons of the same type, but with subtle differences in form."
>Leo: "The same type of long-range weapon equipped by the Tallgeese. It's the only weapon in the Leo's arsenal capable of damaging a Gundanium-armored MS."
They are careful enough to say that the Leo's dobergun is the same -type- but not that it fires the same way. That doesn't excuse that they were lazy and inconsistent with the dobergun animation, though, and there is one instance where Heero starts firing beams from a dobergun on a stolen Leo.
As for the Command Leo, its shoulder guns fire beams. See >>15311411's webm.
>>15327491
Taurus beam cannon was a one-time thing. There is a beam launcher that is designed for the Leo but was never used outside of flashback sequences, though.
>>15327575
>there is one instance where Heero starts firing beams from a dobergun on a stolen Leo.
>>15327583
The suits scale off the pilot, so the Leo gets all the compatible stats and skills of the Wing Gundam, including its Buster Gun.
>>15327575
>>15327583
Rule of cool, or plot demands. Wing is not consistent when it comes to weapons at all.
>>15327590
This is absolutely true. In Gundam Evolve 7, Heero escapes from a space station with a copy of the WZC.. which is armed with a Leo beam rifle that inexplicably fires high powered beams that punch all the way through a Virgo II and keep on going.

What ever became of ReZeon on Mars?

They lost because their big zam was shit.

A Feddie taskforce wiped them out, and then demolished their base with a nuke to prevent anyone from using it or salvaging the Mons Olympus railgun.
>OYW
Zeon was an actual nation with citizens
>Neo Zeon War 1
Zeon was just military and their families
>Neo Zeon War 2
Char brings back space colony support for Zeon but it was like a 3 month thing so it didn't amount to much

Try Legend of the Universal Century Heroes. All of its chapters are prefaced with the word "Fabulous".
