man looking at this back in the day when this shit was new i thought those angel wings and rifle were litterally the coolest shit ever.
now im just as into gundam but in a so bad its good sort of way it has a sort of classic scifi appeal. not to say that it is like classic scifi, not to say that very early gundam series werent like classic scifi.

There's actually a good reason for the long, thick limbs and skinny torsos in Gundam; AMBAC.
Mobile suits benefit from a smaller center of mass and large, weighty appendages in the interest of reorienting themselves, and the larger, more weighty those appendages are in comparison to the center of mass, the more mass it can leverage in AMBAC. That's why wing binders were such a big deal; just another appendage to leverage. WZC's wings basically make it an AMBAC demigod.Dick binders.
