The FAG is terrible, its highly unbalanced and slow.

The G3 is just the regular gundam but built with the magnetic coating from the ground up, instead of being a hodgepodge of repairs and modification made in the field.
So its going to be more reliable at least.

According to the wiki the gun it carries in its hands is simply a Hyper Mega Launcher, while its High Impact Gun is built into the body.
Since this >>15283681 describes the weapon as using minovsky craft tech to cause a gravity effect, makes me think it can destroy things just by throwing destructive gravity waves at things? Not seeing any gun barrels or emitters.

It's hardly "barely canon" when it has a starring role in the animated OVA/movie.
