The Kyoryuger ones I do have though and they're fucking terrible. Especially Gabutyra.

The clips broke without even really playing with him. I think it was about a week of sitting on my shelf with almost no playtime that Stegotchi first fell off. It was a common problem and I don't think anyone ever came up with a proper fix.

No. The small black clips that hold hold the arms on in robot-form or Pteragordon onto his back.

The Kyoryuger mechs were too heavy for the clips to support and it was a very common problem. They were also too tight so removing and inserting them didn't really help the problem.

They didn't seem to be as bad on Plezouon and Bragigas as they are on Gabutyra, Spino, and Pteragordon.

It's when shit like Zyuohger and Kyoryuzin already have official names and you get people insisting it's "Juuohger and Kyoryujin" and using the flimsy "but Unkh and Condol!" when in fact these words have appeared more than once and more frequently. They even pull the "Japan doesn't use Z's!" then you get someone like Z.

I own all of them except the frog. I absolutely love them. Considering how cheap they are to get and how much use they all have, they're some of the first Sentai toys I recommend to someone wanting to buy a robot. Buster Hercules set is my favourite, mainly for having a jet turn into a stag beetle.

If you do buy them though, just keep in mind that if you do buy LiOh, its box is fuckhuge.

So I'm like 16 episodes into Ninninger and i have to ask. Does it continue to go downhill? It's like a train wreck I refuse to look away from.

I finished GoGoFive, it was a good series, but do not think that the father came close to compensating for the fact that he abandoned them for 10 years. By the end of the series I was cheering for Zylpheeza, Denus and Cobolda Would have some kind of happy ending, I felt sorry for them. I really like series about brothers , I mean Magiranger is in my top 5 of favorite series, and I've seen almost 30 different series.

GoGoV is one of my favorite seasons. I love the brother/sister rangers, the fights are cool, I love how many times the face actors wore the suits for see-through visor shots, the music was great, the villains were compelling and super evil. Just all around good stuff.

This year already watch 10 super sentai, so I decided show my top 10:

1 - Toqger: Best villains, history and development.

2 - Gingaman: Great villains and sixth member and good final stretch.

3 - Carranger: Great characters, better boss (Dappu) and sixth (Signalman).

4 - Ohranger: The series enters a great series of episodes to the 33, making the series for me with more epic episodes and with better villains.

5 - Gogo Five: I love family theme (Magiranger is one of my favorite series), good villains (by the end of the series I was sorry for Zylpheeza, Denus and Cobolda and wanted some kind of happy ending for them), of the series that I saw has one of the worst Red.

6 - Megaranger: It has one of the most charismatic teams and characters, but it has no such good villains and not many episodes and straight final epic.

7 - Nininger: Pink and Gold's top members, even the most bad villains, Kyuemon is a great villain, unfortunately does not explore well the series family theme.

8 - Zyuohger: Good characters and good red, but it is only regular, with bad villains, has nothing to do great or epic.

9 - Gaoranger: A regular series.

10 - Kakuranger: Worst villains and one of the worst teams, it's just Tsuruhime (who is a good character with a good bow and development) with the four generic men and virtually no individual personality.

The series in positions 3 to 6 was very difficult for me to decide the order, they got very close to each other and I could change their positions depending on the moment.

ToQger feels like it shouldn't have its fights/choreography as high, yet the weapon/color switching idea was really cool to me. It gave the combat a very unique, memorable feel to it overall. Akira will always be the best 6th ranger to me as far as combatants go; every time he threw that damn sword it got awesome.

I live in the original Power Ranger city, Thousand Oaks in California. Saban's main office is about an hour's drive from here, and they used to film almost all their original footage here, because it was inexpensive at the time and the city has a film history. The show Bonanza and a few John Wayne films were shot here back in the day.

The outside of the original teen center is just one freeway exit away, two of the parks where like 90% of outdoor shots were filmed are just a few blocks away, the city hall and performing arts center was in every season a few times, and Time Force used so many local roads and areas that I recognize, it may as well have been stamped by the Ventura County board of tourism.

It's a nice place to live, but rent rates are expensive and it's a bit of a boring town. There's nothing to do in Thousand Oaks, most people go to Camarillo or Oxnard for entertainment, which were also used often for filing in Power Rangers.

Just finished Gaoranger. That ending was kinda rushed. They built up that final confrontation and then it's just like "oh yeah there's actually a bunch of other power animals, also yours revived somehow because you didn't give up or whatever"

And was the final credits scene supposed to be canon? Because it's kinda awkward to go from "we'll never see each other again" to "oh hey a picnic, lemmie in on this"

Also the Zyuranger suits seem ultra colorful, like it really pops out. Might be the contrast to the backgrounds or lots of color vs. the whites of the suits, or something. I've only really had that kind of perception to very few other teams, like Mega, Geki, ToQ, & Zyuoh.

I really love the Zyuranger suits. Not even from a nostalgia standpoint.

They're just all around lovely suits. They're simple yet memorable. Weapons, mechs, civilian clothes all are top-notch from a design stand point. I'd say MMPR really lucked out in that respect because I think the strong design influences were a huge boost for their popularity.

Kyuranger is taking the chances Zyuohger should have. Seems toku overall isn't doing well, and being paired up with shit anime won't help either.
