Mobile Suit Gundam: Shadow Of History
500 years after the events of G-Reco, one thousand years after the events of Turn A Gundam.
The site of Loran's final battle with Gym has been identified and a monument park has been built around the egg-like cocoon that encased the Turn A and Turn X Gundams. A monument to the past, and a warning about the horrors of war and the folly of those who strove to revive the age of war. Though impenetrable by the latest radar and sonar imaging equipment, it has always been assumed that within the cocoon the two Turn units were disassembled at the molecular level, victims of their own Moonlight Butterfly, never to threaten anyone again.
But one calm and placid night, during a culture festival celebrating five centuries of peace between the earth and the moon, a massive energy spike within the cocoon is detected. The park is evacuated in an extremely authoritarian manner, much to the dismay of the teenagers attending the festival, and all of the Civil Defense Corps mobile suits rush in and surround the cocoon, wich is now glowing and rumbling ominously. But this is a world of peace, and for all their combined efforts, the CDC is completely unprepared for what comes next:
The birth of DEVIL GUNDAM 3.

Hippie teenagers will be forced to learn that turning your backs on violence only works for so long as there is no one else in your tiny isolated world who relies on violence. For humanity to survive, they must overcome their fear and prejudice toward the war machines of the past and search for the one thing that can save their world, the legendary mobile suit GUNDAM.

Story follows around a mailman on earth. Has nothing to do with Gundam, just follows his daily life as a mailman. In the finale he gets crushed by the colony that Char dropped.

FUCKING GUNDAM HARDCORE RACING. Trans am Gundams abusing Trans am, then getting fucked when they drop out of it and are now super slow, F91 Gundam using the afterimages with mass to block other Mobile Suits from passing him, Funnels being used to fucking pass the finish line in a hot blooded fiery finish. Also every character from every gundam series is a racer obviously.

Set a near 100 years after Unicorn. Most space colonies are independent now. Staying on earth is nothing more than for those too poor to leave, or people who feel a more spiritual attachment to it. Mobile suits are now incredible glass cannons seeing who can blast the other with the most psychic power from the abundance of newtypes. There's honestly no reason to be a pilot if you're not a newtype. Unfortunately, while the majority of people living in space are newtypes, there are a few who aren't. Prejudice and discrimination have come full swing in the operate direction on the butthurt pendelum, and you're screwed to grunt work if you can't emotionally connect with everyone else as well as they can.

Colony wars and skirmishes are constant, and blatantly petty. All fueled by Anaheim Electronics in its last breath trying to keep itself relevant. Until Aboa Que, past its days as a resource asteroid/fort and now floating as a giant salvage and refueling station, gets stuck in the middle of some nasty business. One lad, with his odd hobby of rebuilding junk, is the only one left to try to save his friends and himself in a laughably salvaged and repaired Zaku 2 from nearly two hundred years ago. It really looks like life is about to shit on him until everyone comes to be shocked by evolution's biggest middle finger: newtype psychic abilities suddenly stop whenever he's nearby.

It probably wasn't a good idea to mass produce a bunch of psycommu-loaded mobile suits that snap in two when a Zaku rams them.

I want a series set during the One Week War.

Here's the thing with Gundam; The world basically ended. Half of all humans are dead, Dozens of colonies are derelict hulks full of corpses, and Earth has been thrust into a climate-change crisis more severe than the one we were heading for before the colonies.

Follow a group of insignificants, maybe the crew of a Salamis, or even worse one of those godawful torpedo-boat things the feds started using, and watch them try to come to terms with the world coming undone over the course of seven agonizing days.

Sounds like you may as well throw some GMs, Balls, and Saberfish into the mix sometime.

A gundam series with a setting similar to Stargazer with more emphasis on characterization and world building.

The series would follow a team of engineers, programers, mechanics,accountants, etc(basically an older version of the cast of Classroom Crisis). Who are working on a new kind of non-combatant mobile suit.
The MS uses some sort of experimental system that many didn't think would ever work so no one pays attention to the project.
The project was requested to be classified as a "G-Project" the development director who is the MC did so because he wanted to "wipe the curse of war from the (legendary) Gundam name" and use it for something else

In the background of the show we would get worldbuilding tidbits through news podcasts and background characters that would clue is in on the ongoing political tensions and wars.

Eventually the MS nears completion and a higher up at the company wants to weaponize the technology. (This happens some time in the last 6-7 episodes)
However the pure-hearted development team doesn't want to see what they created as a tool to enlighten humanity's future to be used for war.
This leads to a seige in their facility by the military (which is being influenced company higher ups).
I'd like for the story to end happily but there's also potential to kill a lot of the cast off at this point EoE style while they fend off intruders.

I'm not sure if it would be an AU or continue from late UC.
