I have no idea why people dislike the color scheme of jeeg, it looks better then most mecha out their and manages to standout with it. Especially compared to more modern designs and color palettes (I'm looking at you IBO, your color palette looks like it's been soaking in stagnate piss)

Its' because we got Baron Karza and Force Commander in the states instead of Jeeg who was basically Darth Vader Jeeg and StormTrooper Jeeg. You can't beat that shit.
