Reconstructive and Deconstruction are descriptors used by assholes who want to look smart because they're using a fancy word and think that an entire genre is easily defined when they've barely watched anything.

The fact that people can call Evangelion a "deconstruction" when it came out decades after Ideon, Zambot 3 and Votoms is stupid

Deconstructions say "this genre works in such and such a way and is interesting for such and such reasons" and follows it up with "and that's bad."
