That entire incident felt so out of place in this show. I really wasn't expecting anyone to actually get killed for some reason.

I tried to watch it. I normally can power through a bad show and get a good laugh at it, but this one was over the top levels of bad. I forced myself to finish the first arc and then had to drop it when the second cast of characters arrives.

The manga was better in some respects, aside from it randomly making the MC some escaped lab experiment that killed a student and took over his identity. That just came out of nowhere.

seriously, not like that anyways. They where pretty explicit in how painful it was. Usually characters die on the spot heroically, not writhing in pain on a hospital bed
