When most of you were still just a bulge in your fathers' pants, this is the anime we got before VHS, timeshifting, or even cable TV. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Force_Five

>It's a douchebag millennial bitches about anime broadcasts from before he was born thread
Fuck off, I think I heard someone say Robotech in another thread, why not go throw a tantrum over there

>Right now they think own Macross along with its story and characters.
Legally speaking they do. As far as the US Market is concerned. Im not really sure where you thought you where going with this.

and as for the China thing? Not only are you the only one bringing it up, it's completely asinine. Really you're bitching that rights holders want to protect their rights.

Did someone say Gaiking thread?
>>15173439
This, Gaiking doesn't have brand recognition to easily encourage someone ripping it, like Lupin and Mazinger have.
>>15171799
Too bad it'll take forever and a day for Nanto to sub that though.

I have the Discotek release on DVD. The show itself kind of sucks though. I liked Toeizinger much better to be quite honest.
>>15181587
So much for that then. Here's to hoping sales for it will encourage Discotek to license LODM regardless.
I like the discotek releases Ive bought but man I wish they'd redo their website. They're legit as fuck but the website reminds me of one of those old bootleg stores
Man, a lot of mecha anime were shown during the 70s where I live but a majority never finished.
Good thing the Internet exists. I can now download full series of those that I've missed.
