I've seen subbed uploads on Youtube that cover episodes beyond what's available on Bakabt, so it's been fansubbed. I have no idea where the uploader got them from though.

With kids back when it aired, maybe, and it has some "I watched this on Toonami" nostalgic appeal given the normie Youtube comments. But with internet anime fans not so much. It's a lot like Astro Boy 2003.

If I had to choose between the show or the manga being picked up again & fully translated, though, I'd pick the latter.

It was a decent enough dub but wasn't laser-accurate. Changed a couple characters a little and added some lines and stuff, but it's not as bad as completely making up plots or bullshitting a crappy translation, they were just localizing too enthusiastically I think.

a few years ago I downloaded the 2nd half of the english dub (26-48) from multiple sources episode by episode. It was really the best I could find at the time, and if there's nothing better now I'll gladly make a mega or something. They're all TV rips with varying degrees of quality, episode 48 is particularly bad unfortunately.
