They have been successful, and the colonies have progressed into proper nations. However, now that each colony is sovereign and self-sufficient, survival instincts turn to thoughts of war. Quietly at first, the tools for farming and mining are converted into weapons of war- mobile suits. And somewhere, in the bowels of the smallest colony, a new design is being built- a suit made solely for war. Gundam.

The main characters gundam is a slightly suped up grunt with a gundam style face on it while the rest of the team uses an oddball mix of various old prototypes from the war.

Gundam SEED side story OVA focusing on a Calamity Gundam and his team of Strike Daggers assaulting asteroid bases owned by PLANT. The Strike Daggers will be the SEED equivalent of GM Customs. The Calamity will be somewhat modified to function like a Strike so it can accept Striker Packs, but it'll only have a Sword Pack and Double Launcher Pack.

The primary enemies are GuAIZ's so that MS can finally get a proper HG model kit, but the final boss is a heavily customized Ginn riding on a space BuCue (the final boss is some ZAFT officer who fancies himself a knight). There will also be a Kelly Layzner clone in the sense he'll be a crippled mobile armor pilot. He'll have been injured in battle and left to die by the Earth Alliance forces, so when he's found by ZAFT and nursed back to health, he defects. ZAFT uses some resources to give the guy a ZAFT-made mobile armor with a monoeye.

The MC won't be a druggie but he'll still be pretty young. All the pilots will, but they'll have a few professional soldiers serving as their mentors and tutors onboard their ship. Ship captain is a former space privateer recruited by the Earth Alliance because of his knowledge & ability to traverse the Asteroid Belt. His daughter is one of the MC's teammates. MC wants her to be the love interest, she just sees him as a close friend. Shippers get mad. Lead mechanic is a busty wrench wench everyone makes gangbang doujins about or has her raping the young pilots. The Captain will definitely be tapping her. Overall the crew will seem like they're good people. If there's a general feeling of 'I wish I was on that ship because they're bros', then it will have accomplished its job.

Same color palette as Thunderbolt but still keeps with the established MS style in SEED & Stargazer.

OP will be flashy j-pop sung by TM Revolution, ED will be an English smooth jazz love ballad.

There will be cameos from Astray. Lowe will probably buy something the ship captures at some point.

The One-Year War retold as a super robot anime. Amuro, Kai, and Hayato are patterned after Ryoma, Hayato (heh), and Musashi. The Gundam, Guncannon and Guntank can combine into King Gundam, and later can combine with the G-Fighter to become Great Gundam. The White Base also transforms.

The idea is that this exists as an in-universe anime in Universal Century, like DYRL does for Macross.

This would be a Gundam setting that would have a clean cyberpunk aesthetic since everything takes place on the ship. (kinda like sidonia or For the barrel)
The mobile suits would've gotten smaller standing at 7-10 meters or maybe even 3.
Their main usage would be for maintenance, entertainment and searching for resources on asteroids, but soon the Newtype crew comes in contact with a form of alien life that is incredibly hard to communicate with leading to warfare.

We get to see some of the most advanced weaponry in UC and stuff that alludes to Turn A's technological origins.
Eventually humanity is able to get along with them, but not after hours of epic combat, battles waged with weapons incomprehensible to us and other cool things.

It would be really cool if it could expand on the concepts introduced in 00's movie, while I found them interesting there was only so much they could do in a single film.

Yamashita would mainly focus on the ships, and general technology stuff, but he would also do a decent amount of work on the mecha design.

I have no idea for who would design the aliens, but I'd like for them to look really incomprehensible, and not really have their own forms.

Character designs by a more subdued Hirai, Sadamoto or Akiman.

I want something with a really futuristic sounding technological vibe, but nothing that goes anywhere near EDM.

The Republic of Zeon, obviously being the odd one out of the war in terms of finances, is forced to use older mobile suits or mobile suits that are haphazardly mashed together and painted to try and cover that fact up, except for the hero's gundam, which is a new gundam project create using the data from the Nu-Gundam and Unicorn Gundam that the EF was designing on side 3 when the Republic and EF were working together.

Also, i picked Neo-Zeon being overtaken by a religious sect because i wanted to parallel how countries in the middle east got pretty much taken over by religious extremists, which plays into theme of what i would've wanted in my OVA, a story about the effects of religion or religious theology in War and how people can justify atrocities under the veil of "God will defend me".

I always wanted to see a series that focused heavily on a contract or bidding war between Anaheim Electronics and S.N.R.I.

Set around UC:0099 Anaheim takes advantage of rouge Zeon forces attempting to reclaim the Republic of Zeon before they resign their independence to the Earth Federation. With the main focus of drawing out the new S.N.R.I unit that the EFSF is testing and plans to deploy against remnant Zeon forces. All in an attempt to prove their design superior and S.N.R.I's inferior. Of course the events during this period help shape future conflicts. I feel like it'd be a fun idea to explore in Gundam since we know Anaheim would always sell weapons to both sides to fuel profits, one could only imagine the lengths they'd go to secure their contracts.

Since I've tried to developped it in a thread some weeks ago, "Gundam 0091: Absolutely".

In UC 0091, it follows the meager crew of a Londo Bell measly equipped ship as the organisation was just founded. They'd spy and look for Neo-Zeon remnants and especially one that they'll end up following to the bitter end up to Jupiter. Three parts, an early introduction, the discovery and first pursuit of the Neo-zeon ship, the pursuit up to Jupiter with the final battle maybe a couple of years after the beginning (right during CCA, referenced at the end maybe).
The Absolutely (either a Salamis-kai or an Alexandria-class) is equipped with Jegans and the protagonist, a young ex-Titan pilot who joined the group to kick some Zeon's ass after his parents got killed in Operation Stardust joins Londo Bell because that means kicking more Zeon's ass so that's always good. He'd pilot the ReGZ which would be the main suit of the show. No newtypes up until the last third with the jupiter arc.

Probably quite a dark ending with the destruction of the Zeon ship, but most of the crew dead, the Absolutely damaged near Jupiter and all motivations lost. I guess it'd have a 18th century naval chase vibe ala "Master and Commander".

Setting - post-Zeta UC
Main characters are an ex-zeek MS pilot, about Char's age and his employer, the ex-military captain of the cargo ship, they're involved into smuggling.
The show begins with the demonstration of how huge the problems of spacenoids are: slum-like areas by the ends of the cylinders, bribery of the officials, disorders and so on. Then the characters are getting involved in series of events that lead to creation of Char's Neo Zeon. First, they are smuggling some unknown boxes and getting attacked by colonial guards with space fighters. Then they're engaging in several more actions like participating in the "raid" on the Anaheim cargo ship, gaining the trust of ex-Haman's soldiers and organizing their enlisting in the Char's army, the details can be written as the show goes on.

First couple OVA are mostly standalone, more about introducing the characters and their machines as they hunt down these missing machines. Keep in mind that I was thinking of this as a more original setting, not UC.

Idea would be that the war was a power struggle between two nations over control of a third smaller country. Throughout their hunt for different ms post war, the mc group starts encountering another unknown group looking for the same machines (Possibly a traitor in the MCs organization providing them with intel) especially while looking for prototype machines.

I haven't gotten much past that, but was thinking about it being the disputed country looking to develop their own advanced ms tech and go independant from both nations.

UC Gundam: Zaku Legacy
A 12 episode OVA that begins with a young Zaku pilot surrendering to the Federation at the end of the OWY. The first few episodes take place during the Operation Stardust/Flag of Titans era and shows him and other ex-Zeon pilots sent on false flag suicide missions with the reward for survival being political amnesty. Later episodes would show him interacting with the AEUG and helping them undermine Titans operations under the table. By the time ZZ and Char's Counter Attack rolls around he's earned his amnesty and is trying but failing to become a family man, as agents of Neo-Zeon attempt to drag him back into the "good fight." The last two episodes take place in the late UC show him as an older divorced man who must team up with his estranged MS-Otaku daughter to track down his old Zaku so he can sell it to a museum to pay off his gambling debts and alimony. The last scene shows him as an old man taking out his old ramshackle Zaku out one last time to defend his colony from an approaching attack by the Zanscare empire

After War Gundam X OVA prequel thats basically Mad Max

Set in one of the hyper devastated regions, cut off from the rest of the world by a powerful continual belt of storm.

Our hero is a scavenger, and finds a mysterious mobile suit while looting an old army base that was not on any of the maps.

Turns out its a gundam (shocker) that was built to be a guerrilla combat machine for operating in enemy territory, so its hyper durable and stealthy and can operate on its lonesome.

they fight off some Vultures (AW Gundam X mercenary scavenger gangs) and links up with a small merchant convoy going between the few highly defended cities in the region.

Lots of fights against gangs with hyper limited resources, so little ammo for things that are not based of mobile suit reactors. Lots of beam, lots of melee. Dirty fighting.

Eventually they manage to unlock the hidden files and videos in the system and finds out some old army evil test bullshit.

Turns out that in the center of the storm is a mobile armor full of cyber newtypes with a satellite system based weather control stuff going on. It was designed again for guerilla warfare by the same laboratory, intended to make occupation of Earth non-viable for the colonies, even if earth lost the war, but was secretly intended to be a terraforming machine to fix earth if the war fucked it up like it did, but it got stuck in automated area defense mode.

At the end of the series they manage to turn the weather control mobile armor into the terraformer it was meant to be, and start fixing the earth weather and climate, which is why by the time of the AW Gundam X main series earth is so habitable after it got colony rained. The ending of the final episode would be them setting up a hidden settlement around the mobile terraformer to protect it, in which everyone in the series gets a happy ending.

Definitely going to support the Build Fighters trend.

Ex-Renato school who jumped into using a Gundam, but their fighting style still leans heavily on TACTICS rather than the over the top hot blooded combat. Some kind of combination of the GP-series and Advance of Zeta, so it can take in pieces from Thunderbolt and reuse them.

It'll be part of a subsection of a Gunpla tournament focusing on larger builds that involve more mechanics (folding arms, detachable weapons & armor, etc.). Both so we can get some crazy Gunpla fight action and so we can get a Xamel kit (with a Xamel exterior but the insides fold over a Zaku I unit so its not a giant hunk of plastic, saving on cost of the kit).

The final antagonist will be the return of the Zakrello Dendrobium from Gunpla Builders, but it'll be given the full Katoki treatment with a 0083 Zaku II (the F2 series I think they were).

It would be heavily meta-game focused, dealing with glitches, exploits and an entirely different gunpla battle culture, more similar to the fighting game/evo scene.

One of the rival teams would be Pro Wrestlers in melee suits. One team would Airforce themed with a f22 raptor style gunpla and a A10 warthog style gunpla etc. One would be NASA themed, all their suits have to have heat shielding because they go FAST. Looks like Kerbal Space Program was used to make gunpla. One would be Cowboy themed, beam lasso, converted Fuunsaki. One would be music themed, with that one Gundam from the video game that has a guitar piloted by a rock star.

We get a cute fish out of water story that also delves into how goddamn weird things get with professional gaming and esports when you have to squeeze every drop of value and advantage out of a gaming system.

Or an au where it LOOKS like its a fantasy world but turns out to be a gigantic inter system slower than light ship like a gigantic colony, and terrorists (zeon expy?) fucked up the cold sleep and everyone woke up with amnesia and built their own society.

Either way something A BIT like IBO could be fun, where all the mobile suits are ancient artifacts passed down through families.

The resolution would be the protag and his gang finding out their world was a gigantic space ship, though not actually finding their history.

So they turn into a space fairing "kingdom" heading towards one of earths colonies, except now they have a completely new culture and weird uses of the nanite technology that look like magic. Which could set up a second season based around culture shock and a small war when some colony expecting a load of migrants ends up with middle earth turning up on their doorstep instead.

The second season could even be told from the earth colonies point of view with the colony ship first being assumed to be invading aliens.

Ok, so...

New timeline. Call it...Galactic Century or some shit. I dunno.

Federation-analog is in a perpetual cold war with the Zeon-analog. Eggheads in the think-tanks suggest that in a straight up fight, the Federation will win, but it'll be very costly and torpedo any sort of positive PR they'd get from aiding the survivors. (Information gathered from the Zeon side also supports this theory)

With all this brouhaha happening, it turns out that one of the stewards to the Zeon ambassador to the Feds has...turned up face down in the gutters of some Martian hub-city. Which is bad. What's even worse is that a (somewhat) high-ranking Federated Naval officer has been implicated in the schmuck's death.

Except the officer proclaims s/he's innocent and demands to see their JAG rep. Like, right fucking now.

Cue theme music.

Posted this before, but a slice of life anime which has the main characters being a group of zeek and feddie kids in the Federation Survey Service, basically going around cataloging the mobile suits used during the OYW and all those Neo Zeon wars and interviewing both feddie and zeek veterans and stuff. Each episode features them finding a custom mobile suit or talking to a veteran, and then there's a flashback where it shows the suit or pilot in action. The main characters also have their own thing going on where they need to reconcile their hatred and prejudices over one another. Maybe this delinquent Zeek kid falls in love with an upper class feddie girl or something like that. Last episode ends with them finding the RX-78 Head. Basically the tone would be this really hopeful feeling to it, where the kids are seen as the new generation trying to understand and be sympathetic to both sides.

A Vietnam war inspired series that can be best described as one part apocalypse now and one part the things they carried

First episode the MC gets drafted to fight for the federation and has to deride either to run away but with the possible never be able to return home or to fight on a planet half a system away.

Middle episodes is him experiencing life as a soldier, the good and the bad with the platoon he's drafted in

Last episode after being one of the sole surviving members of he gets to go home only to find out that similar to what some soldiers of that war had to go through in real life after, the general populous treat him like a complete monster and combine the fact that he kind adjust back to a civilians life, his only escape ends up being to go back and fight and the last thing we see of our hero is him getting into his gundam and disappearing in the jungle.

A build fighters spin-off following the formation of a three man team each representing a different style of the franchise, our characters would be a hot-blooded fighter who more or less represents G Gundam in terms of style but mostly pilots like Kamille Shinn Domon Bellri, Graham and to some extent Shiro, he would be a close combat specialist that uses a Shining Gundam based Gunpla and a G-Saviour and despite his hot-blooded attitude and penchant for yelling would be a very tactical fighter who relies on fundamental martial arts and his environment rather than spamming his super attacks but would also need to reign in his anger issues and overexcitedness as well as better work with his team,
Then we have the tactical guy who makes plans with in plans around plans and has multiple different equipment sets to cover as many possibilities as possible weather it be load as many weapons as you can or just setup for stealth and sniping he is a very relaxed character and is a bit of a Quattro but with a better showing in skill more akin to Harry or Sergei but tends to get rather arrogant willingly poking holes in his own plans simple because he is bored he has to learn to stop especially when it starts to affect his team his main Gunpla are grunts but he does use a Tallgeese.
Then we have the third guy who is a shy transfer student and the "Newtype" in terms of skill he is very effective and makes great use of intuition and his weapons (he is also the only one to use funnels in the team) but he has self-esteem issues that prevent him from tapping his full ability he is however the best team player at first mainly uses a MP Nu-Gundam and Qubeley. Together this team of odd-balls must come together to win an underground tournament funded by a bored rich chick and her cousin also each one would have two rivals apiece one on a different team and one team that represent the final enemy to overcome it would be a small charming side story.

I want a short OVA of a ZAFT pilot stationed at the Messiah base. His ZAKU was disabled by the Strike Freedom and now he's drifting in space after the battle ended. His mobile suit's power can only support the life support for a couple of days, and while his distress beacon is transmitting out, during the entirety of the short OVA he'd have to find enough supplies from other disabled or destroyed mobile suits somehow, with the ending being his rescue.

We'd be focusing on a group of EF soldiers charged with bringing in, or bringing down, disenfranchised Titans who are going around wrecking shit. Most of the crew will be former Titans themselves in order to test their loyalties. This becomes a problem when some of the EF bigwigs start selling out to Haman. When Titans members start hooking up with Neo Zeon our crew gets orders to leave them be, but morally would they just accept that and stop?

Complete remake of 0079 with a hard sci-fi basis and PTSD.

Mobile Suit design similar to the original designs (nothing like From the Barrel) but with more realistic additions and revisions.

Instead of being analog controls the mobile suits are partly powered and controlled by neural-interface, the Gundam instead being mostly controlled by that and completely linking with Amuro, hence why they can't just replace him.

Lots of death and horrific collateral damage. Less focus on whacky MS and spaceship design and more focus on more realistic/tangible design in the vein of the original concept. Explanation for Mobile Suits existing instead of more practical technology is the need for cheap weapons that rival battleships while also being able to navigate through varied environments IE colonies and Earth. Instead of just being big/impractical metal men they'd have heads/torsos/legs that could make full rotation and weapon mounts everywhere similar to the shit found in Thunderbolt and Solomon Express. Reason for hands is to circumvent Minovsky particle interference by analog firing certain weapons.

I would have them create a 12 episode OVA of Chars Counterattack, give it a new title, fantastic animation budget, episodes leading up to the big battle so the story makes more sense.
