Vifam has a mostly all little kids cast and you somehow don't want to kill yourself. They're all super tolerable

Super Robot Red Baron is pretty darned fun. It's like someone decided to make a Tetsujin/Mazinger knock-off with a Clouseau-esque inspector and turned it into a live-action show instead. Only big downside is that it's notoriously difficult to watch on the Internet atm, so the DVDs from two different publishers must be bought.
