You do understand that even if Amuro used a club weapon to fight at A Baoa Qu he would still win ? So it's kind of pointless to argue this point.
The writers decided ages ago that the zeeks should loose at A Baoa Qu. And it has been that way in all alternate continues.

they were effective at bullying the federations navy before mobile suits, but after more effective mobile suits/anti mobile suit weapons were developed by the federation, aquatic suits were never really made again

Imagine having to fight off a zgok while on a federation naval vessel with only tin cod support, then you can see why zeon used them

I enjoy Axis no Kyoui V. There's a pretty good wiki out there that can help you figure out the menus and what the choices they're giving you mean.

My advice though? If you're going to play Japanese games, especially Gundam games, learn katakana. It's just 44 characters and it will enable you to read mobile suit names, character names, menu options, all sorts of shit in just about any Japanese game you play.

Since aquatic combat would rely on sonar, which minskovy particles shouldn't interfere with, you'd think they could go full retard at building anti-sub defenses, like sonar-slaved supercavitating proximity detonating torpedo point defense guns and shit.

Though I guess even though the technology for that was already around when gundam was made, it was some real secret squirrel bullshit until many years later.
