whatever series is after IBO I hope bandai keeps up the 1/100 NG line. I really like these inexpensive 1/100s.
The Nongrades for 00 are about the same price as an Master Grade since they're not in production. Same thing can be expected once the ibo kits go off the mill.
I will say, the building isn't that grand to me but it isn't a let down either. For about 25 bucks I got what I expected
The plastic isn't nearly as durable or as well made as your average MG release. I appreciate they exist and are still released, but i have no personal need for Gunpla that won't stand the test of time years later still posing in the same position i articulated it into.Vidar is still sexy.

Everything new whether it be mg, hg, sd, etc. since the MG Nu Ver Ka uses the same plastic formulas for polystyrene, polyethylene, and ABS. Your observation isn't rooted in fact.

love everything about this design
EXCEPT the scoliosis toothpick in the middle, wtf were they thinking?

They were thinking people would buy it
They were right.
>tfw have scale autism and don't like building out of 1/100
1/100 IBOs just don't tickle my fancy

The proportions always seemed weirdly off about the 1/100's to me, especially regarding the Barbatos & the Lupus as well. Rebake looked better in 1/100 though.

I assume it was designed that way to add focus on how the torso moves. Most robots just sort of have blocks that somehow allow for a full human movement range. The IBO frames seem to want to showcase where the articulation is. Washio's designs for Fafner have similarly weird waists for presumably the same reason.
Sometimes I think Washio just does weird shit to be contrary to regular design principles though. I still love his work.

There is something vey off about the head and shoulders, in my eyes.
