It is one sexy beast but you can't deny Byarlant doesn't have enough fire power and its hands aren't very useful since it isn't a powerful claw like the Custom nor can it hold guns like a normal suit.

I always thought it'd be cool if byarlant got something similar the Qubeley had wrist guns that are his beam sabers. give him fancy wrists but have normal hands to hold beam rifles with.

They're already very high output beam guns, stronger than the Gabthley's beam cannons.

That takes away from the Byarlant's unique design. Besides, the Byarlant and Qubeley don't bother to have handheld weapons because they're already integrated into the arms. Claws aren't an optimal design for holding and manipulating humanoid hand-held guns anyway, and make for shitty melee weapons unless they're huge and/or have some sort of gimmick like the Banshee's Armed Armor VN.

Byarlant Custom unit 2 has regular hands, by the way. Which are idiotically still stupid because the machine itself has long beam cannon-sabres that are mounted to the forearms which means the hands don't have anything to hold, making the hands still pointless.

according to the info Byarlants hands are at 4.7 MW in power. Gabthley's beam rifle is at 6.6 MW and its shoulder guns are at 4.2 MW

No, not really. Both technologies are similar, they're different names for different implementations of the same technology.

Beam rifles and mega particle guns fire the same thing - mega particles. Beam rifles are just more efficient because they make use of e-caps that store high-energy, ready to use minovsky particles so only a little bit of electricity is required to complete the firing process. That's why it's a big deal that e-caps enable mobile suits with their comparatively small minovsky reactors to use beam weapons.

Mega particle weapons seem to be directly connected to a minovsky reactor and draw both minovsky particles and electricity from the reactor. They need more electricity to complete the same firing process as a beam rifle but have the benefit of not easily running out of ammunition because they have a constant supply of minovsky particles from the reactor, I would guess.

No it doesn't. The arm mounted beam guns project beam blades for melee weapons. I don't think standard beam sabres were intended, given how large the arm mounted weapons are and how awkward it would be to swing.
