I imagined a show where major character was a hivemind AI and that any conversations it had with itself would be represented by a blank screen where words would appear to represent it's thinking process. If you're also a jojofag, think YES YES YES. When the AI came to a decision, a single word would appear with emphasis, though the meaning wouldn't necessarily be immediately apparent. And it would become apparent as the show progressed that certain sections of the screen represented factions within the hive mind as their "thoughts" would conflict.

How about the Japan Self Defense Force intervening to save a dad from alien after he went to fight alone with the mech built by his genius son (killed in the first episode)
The support team of the super robot have joined the JSDF as elite pilots and engineer, they'll go to successfully destroy the mech mid series before it get entirely reverse-engineered and then fight hordes of mass-produced copy of it.
