There really isn't much difference. They reanimated some things to look better and edited the OVA episodes so that they fit as a half-hour TV program running time.

It's really not worth watching the TV show if you've already seen the OVA. If you haven't seen either then watch the TV show as it's the "definitive" version of the 0096 story.

No? It's the same thing with a new OP and ED. The RE version is a chore to watch if you watching it 1 episode a week. There are no new sequences or sequences removed from the TV version. They threw in a 5 minute summary at the beginning of EVERY episode plus the 2 mins for OP and ED to make twenty six 23 minute episodes.

RE 0096 is airing on Toonami every Sunday at 1:00 AM EST. You could watch it with /co/ and see how Gundam virgins react to the conclusion of Early UC.

Though, most of them also watched IBO S1 for the first time over this past year and a lot of them were not impressed.

Honestly, the pacing is really bad in the TV series. They try to cut it so you get 1 battle per episode, but they cut it off at the oddest places. And it's not even a full 26 minutes consistently; usually the episodes are 22 minutes, and that includes at least 2 minutes of OP/ED + narrative recaps which become One Piece length towards the middle.
