In celebration of AC7, I'm going to dump the Aces at War art book, that hardly anyone knows about.
And before you complain, let me go ahead and apologize for the two biggest problems I'm sure everyone is ready to point out:
>Why is there no English translation?
Sorry
>Why isn't this scan so good?
Sorry
Anyway, let's begin! I proudly present, Aces at War!
Chiming in to let you know I appreciate the dump
Thanks OP, reminds me I've been meaning to buy a Falken model

Y'know I've always wondered, is there any footage of Zero's cutscenes pre-dubbing?

>tfw Yellow 13 was the true hero, but you were just a better pilot
Amazing, I love AC
>fin~
Well, hope you discovered something new about AC or perhaps found a new livery for your next model kit!
See you next year, when we get to fly over Strangereal once more!
>>15047731
thanks
>>15047646
real obvious they based these characters on American actors, wonder why I never noticed in game?
>>15047626
>implying the Yellows were defeated by skill and not just an incredibly shitty bout of bad luck and sabotage
I don't think 04 lets you kill a single relevant Yellow in their prime, they're plot armored to hell and back. By the time you get to clown them in bulk they're filled up with rookies being told to hold the line even if it kills them.
The only things that remotely suggest Mobius 1 isn't a total fraud are Operation Katina and their portrayal in the ACZ Gauntlet.

good job

>I don't think 04 lets you kill a single relevant Yellow in their prime
You can, a jap did it once on the first mission where they appear (the one with the oil rigs at the beginning IIRC)
Ive also killed a few on the comona island mission with the big ass furball, but anyone can do that with a little effort.

This is good stuff op. Thanks.

Thank you op

How about the entirety of AC4?
Every single mission should be enough to give Mobious 1 a reputation on its own.
>>15048910
He spearheaded a mission and personally destroyed the biggest anti-air base in the world that gave them total air superiority on a global scale, while in a fucking plane.
Sure gameplay-wise or considering what other player characters have done that's not the most impressive thing ever, but plotwise it's pretty big.
And the only reason you're required to kill them late game is because you have late game planes, they're just as hard to kill in Comona.

Different anon here, but what about the entirety of AC4? Cipher shot down dozens of elite pilots in almost every mission, and a few superweapons as well. Mobius only could handle one elite pilot (13), who didn't even seem to care. Keep in mind he did most of this in a F-22 which is a pretty high spec aircraft in AC. Cipher did all of his in a lower spec F-15.

Well, in ACZ Cipher is backed up by Pixy, an equally skillful pilot and legend himself, as well as the forces of a whole superpower and several other nations, with almost twice the amount of planes at his disposal. Not to mention many of the 'aces' he fought weren't nearly as skillful or difficult as the Yellow squadron (how long did it take you to take down fucking Gelb, like 10 seconds?)
>>15052674
Also when Mobius One was able to fight the Yellows, it was either getting a sucker punch on Yellow 13 during the largest furball of the war, or when the squadron's aircrafts were poorly maintained, outright sabotaged or having nuggets within the squadron.
Also Mobius One would be considered an Ace of Aces if you see how terrible the other ISAF pilots were in the final mission where the Yellow squadron is comprised solely of nuggets who have recieved an unknown level of trainingWe don't even know if they were officially inducted into the squadron because they almost all lack codenames and instead refer to each other by their real names.and if you race off the Megalith to leave the rest of Mobius to fight the Yellows, they will get wiped out. Read that again, the Ace Squadron of ISAF minus the flight lead, would get destroyed by a bunch of Eursian nuggets. This is not to say the Yellows were good, but ISAF was loaded if incompetent pilots and one decent one could carry the day.
Not to say Mobius One is a slouch, he shits all over lesser pilots like Blaze and Wardog, but compared to what Cipher fought and accomplished, I'd have to give him the edge.

Cipher and Pixy single handedly turned the tide during Operation Battleaxe where the allied forces were getting their asses handed to them by Belkia's Knights of the Roundtable before Garm turned the tide of battle.
As for Yellow 13's skill level compared to the Aces of Belka, you have to remember, Belka's Air Force was considered the best in the world and their pilots were skilled enough to be put into service by other countries after the Belkan War. (Examples: Sergei Brynner in Ace Combat Assault Horizon Legacy and Lorenz Riedel in Ace Combat 6) So as a whole the Belkan Air Force would have more than likely mopped the floor of the ISAF and Eursian forces based on their reputation, ability and where it took a super ace to stop them.Long Live Belka

Nobody remember Talisman
I'm excited for the new fictional superplane in 7.
Considering how its supposed to be a return to form for Ace Combat, they've gotta have at least one right?
>>15055162
I expect 5 of them
1 new one to appear in the story while the other 4 are the older games super planes that you can unlock
>>15055609
>the other 4 are the older games super planes that you can unlock
Maybe, but remember this ain't infinity, it's trying to be its own entry in the main series, so it'll want to be unique.
>>15047731
Thanks man.
>>15055049
>Nobody remember Talisman
Much less Gryphustraya 1
>>15047404
Huh, so Wardog uses original F-14A tomcats, see as they don't have the F110 nozzles of the F-14B or D engines
Wonder why Osea never upgraded?
