Shitposters are all on eternal quests for max replies. They will bump their shit repeatedly just so more people see it and take the bait.

The only option is to counterbump by spam bumping non-shit threads. Try to maintain four good bumps for every post you make, and the shit threads won't possibly live.

I've also noticed higher turnover. Threads used to take days to die, now they can die in ten hours.

This is a serious problem for the smaller boards. I wish we could get a dedicated mod. Hell, I've applied but that never went anywhere. All you need is someone who knows the board and will delete shitposting/off topic threads. Not a very difficult job for a slow board.
