I'm planning on using a synchtube type thing (most likely cytube) instead of a normal streaming system.
most of these sites are wall-to-wall media piracy stuff, there's no reason to be concerned about the channel getting popped, just the videos that it uses

copypastaing from another time I explained it:
The way synchtube sites like cytube or taima tv work is different than the usual video stream that goes (live video feed off a computer)->(video stream site)->(viewer).

Like the name implies, they synchronize videos.

So every browser looking at the channel gets told "load this one youtube video and set it to 5:58" and then a couple of seconds later it tells it "make sure you're at 6:00" and then "load this other youtube video" and then a couple of seconds later it tells it "make sure you're at 0:02"
They usually work with DM and other video sites too.

In this case I'm attempting to set up a bunch of burner youtube accounts to make it possible to have copies entirely under my control with them as unlisted videos. I tried it with one of the Keroros. It got tagged so apparently it won't play in Japan, but that bodes well for this working as a general solution.
Backup solutions are to wing it with whatever shit people have on youtube already like when I tagged in last year, or (much worse) Dailymotion or Google Drive + That Userscript.

If anyone has an open domain and knows even basic web development you could always use streamify or castamp for the streaming and embed a chatango.

There are a ton of small community streaming sites that use castamp for any and all copyrighted material/

other than getting copies of stuff the major hurdle to clear as I see it right now is getting the chopped content up on the burner youtubes and making sure it actually works out in practice on cytube

I've already got the basic channel in alpha test with a ton of random xmas stuff off youtube, some of it will be left in some won't.

After I get out of the office today I'll be able to upload the chunks I've got and make sure the plan works in practice.

I'll also have to keep an eye out if any these trigger a harder pop to avoid re-upping them, too, but I've got a bunch of youtube burner accounts already to go with the fake google accounts I made for the Keroro tube I have.

The end of Exceedraft is about Armageddon. An Angel of God comes on Christmas to literally cause the Rapture, sparing the children chosen by God to allow at least some of humanity to survive the final battle between God and Satan. And for some reason both God and Satan use Santas as their messengers..

There's going to be more than a few spoilers and series finales in this.
I'm going to try to give a heads-up but some of these shows I'm not really that into so I don't know if the fact that Pilot Dan is missing is a big clue that he died a few episodes ago or something. When it's some big shit like "oh wow it's Doctor Armstrong, long presumed dead, but he was the Evil Empire all along!" they usually throw in a bunch of exposition to make it clear this is a big deal, so I'll probably pick up on those.

The beta is chugging along nicely (knock on wood) with what it's supposed to do, the youtube videos seem to be staying up so far, and I've got another batch of episodes uploading through tonight. Splitting the content up has been successful so far it seems, and it's something I can do while I'm at the office since it's pushing a couple of buttons and coming back to it a few minutes later.

If things proceed at their current pace we should be good to go.

I did some crazy shit like actually reading the instructions on handbrake a little so now it seems to be just graft the audio as-is on to the file rather than any re-encoding

Handbrake's being dumb working with the [EG] version because of the fancy OP/ED stuff. I don't know where my old bland encodes are, and the ones on youtube are either subbed without the OP/EDs or the dub missing a few eps.

Also an update on the dailymotion front:
Boukenger and Gekiranger triggered as blacklisted files, but Carranger 43, Grendizer 12 (JP/Eng subs), Getter Robo G 40, Megaranger 43, Raxephon 8, and KR Wizard 16 all got through before DM told me to slow the fuck down and come back in 24 hours.
I've got Kakuranger 45, Kyoruger 42, Mazinger 13 and 56, and Megaranger 42 left to try. Since the Toei cartoons got through I'm optimistic about the prospects for Mazinger, seems sentai is hit or miss so whatever.

On the 0080 front I need to dig up how you pirate copy-protected dvds.

If I end up with time to waste I might try doing a fresh rip of these Mazingers off my hk set.

So I encountered a critical flaw in my DM uploads: softsubs.

As it is there's twenty-one and a half hours of content not including the raw moonspeak stage shows or MST3k for afterwards, so I'm not gonna sweat getting these up too much beyond Mazinger.

I'm probably going to set this up to go with content Friday evening, live shows a bit overnight, then time it so we go into the MST3ks somewhere around 2a Eastern Sunday morning / Late Saturday, so that would probably start around 5~8am? I'll probably have better numbers as it gets closer.

Last year I hastily improvised a solution to megacorp crackdowns with random elements I already had leads on from the onlines.

All good ideas, and it's actually funny that you mention Might Gaine, since I was thinking it would be fun to show some finales during New Year's. Might Gaine would actually be perfect since it's Christmas arc is directly followed by the final episodes of the series. Sentai in general would work with this as well, since their Christmas episodes usually air within weeks of their finales.

In addition, we could take the chance to air other shows that either don't have Christmas episodes, didn't make it to the stream this year, or just have hype as fuck finales like Build Fighters and Shin Mazinger.
