Just finished Zeta and frankly, I thought the mkii looked a bit boring, there's nothing really to it. Though for some weird reason I think the mkii+g-defenser looked good.
Zeta likewise didn't really worked on me, didn't liked the face at all (though it was nice that they tried something else), the transforming gimmick was ok but seeing it now made it lose the effect I guess.
And yeah, Hyaku Shiki blow them out of the water even if it isn't a super original design and it has nothing really out of the ordinary but the bling paint.

I really wasn't into much of the suit's show unfortunately, HS, Qubeley and The O, Psycho Gundam were really cool but I can't really feel much about many other ms, especially grunts and most of the many many enemy suits.

I haven't seen CCA yet, but there's something I don't quite get about the v Gundam's funnels.
Do they like fold when in action ? But then, how is that that half of them looks like half a funnel? It looks like there are 6 funnels, but if you count it by "halves" there are 4 funnels...
How the hell does this funnel mess compute exactly?

The others are like folded over themselves but the 1 and 5 are unfolded?

I used to. But then I saw Fujita's redesign of the Zeta and it's been a favorite of mine ever since. It's just go so much extra flavor to it.

Pretty fucked.
It was my third MG and I fucked up a few parts. You need to clean nub marks or else some armor pieces won't stick well and the psycho frame tends to fall a lot.

Also lots of tiny foil stickers under the green psycho frame to help it pop.


I ordered a second one last month but the vendor on amazon send me a Hi-Nu ver.ka by mistake. I didn't want to pay for postage so I just kept it since it's a kit I wanted anyways.

I prefer Fujita's original MK-II design over the final design, but the final design is still pretty cool. I prefer the Zeta, though.

I'm just glad they announced a new Zeta High Grade so I can put all three next on my shelf next to my OYW(Gundam, Guncannon, Guntank) team.

Also,Yukata Izubuchi made the Nu Gundam without the funnels (you can see this in one of the first shorts of the old SD Gundam), and he was asked later to add a cape of sorts. He came up with the funnels as a one shoulder cape.

Finally saw CCA, v Gundam was really funky and those funnels really looked like nothing else, they really succeeded in making them strange-looking even at this point of the show. Somehow I still preferred Char's Sazabi though...
