Do you perhaps mean Awakened mode or something? As in, when Banagher is basically one with the suit and able to use psycofields at will? Because Destroy mode is just it's regular transformation in to a Gundam and even grunts from F91 are probably better than it then in most respects. It's only when using a psycofield that it's really powerful, and that's not really part of Destroy mode as such, since the unit transformed again with psycoframe crystals poking out every where to access that.

Banana and Riddhe both gain conscious control of the Destroy mode and NT-D systems by the end if I recall. Which is why the psycoframe glows green rather than the starting red.

The important word there is almost, though while most (probably all) of them would run out of fuel quick, most don't run out of electricity for ages since they have fusion reactors. G-Self lasts longer than the battery Gundams in CE, but the rest probably out do it by a long shot.
