G Gundam was one of, if not THE reason I got into mecha as a whole, and to this day is still my hands-down favorite Gundam and /m/ show. I couldn't have asked for a better performance from Mark, who I copied a thousand times over as a kid.

I don't usually buy series to own, but I think I'm going to pick up the Blu-Ray myself. Not only would my kid brother like it a lot since he loves it too, but I feel like anything less would be a disservice to my favorite series, and the man who was a big part in making it so great.

Having watched that video now, I actually think it may just be this Lucas Gilbertson guy being a dick. From the sounds of it, hardly anyone knows where Mark Gatha even is or has even met him personally - Lucas Gilbertson is the same person who spread the information that Gatha is a doctor.

I'm not familiar with this Lucas Gilbertson guy but if he seriously spread a rumor that someone died, that is fucking low. I had to deal with a close friend's death earlier this year so I don't take this shit lightly. Anyone who would do that has clearly never had to suffer the loss of someone close to them.

And if Gatha really is dead, that's even worse because it means this guy spread the rumor only for it to actually become true. I am really glad I'm unfamiliar with Gilbertson because I would boycott him over this.
