Hey, kids. Here's something I don't believe has been shared here before: Wings of Rean DVD booklet scans from Bandai Visual's fancy R1 release, scanned by KimiNozo Guy. These might be of some interest to Tomino scholars.
And that's booklet 1 done. Dumping will continue later (and probably erratically), and there will also be an archive download link.
Booklet 2 start.
A random thought: if Bandai Visual USA had lasted a little while longer, we might have gotten a similarly lavish R1 release of Kiss Dum: Engage Planet. Let that sink in.
Booklet 2 done. Will post more tomorrow.
Highly recommend reading the interviews in these. Posted them in text before with a ton of errors so read them again if you haven't already.

Nice. I follow him on twitter and this is some cool shit.
Thanks for sharing anonbump
NOICE! Thanks anon, and thanks KimiNozo Guy. Now if we could just get a DDL for this yummy stuff...
Continuing.
That's booklet 3 down. One more to go.
And that's all of Wings of Rean. Direct download link will come a little later, since I have other booklet goodies in the works, and the share folder needs to be cleaned of work-in-progress materials first. The other scans are going to need a separate thread since we'd hit the image limit.
I liked the OVA.
Wasn't KimiNozo Guy some Muvluv fag?

>okama
Interest level: rising.

>Tomino walked like a robot for this show
He is one of us, isn't he?
What's the local image limit anyway? If it is 150 or 151 images, then I could also squeeze in the Bandai Visual Diebuster DVD booklet scans, which are 33 pages in total. I'd rather not start a new dumping thread before KnG has finished scanning the other remaining goodies.

he is the oldest member of /m/
>>14967236
150, so it can fit with 6 images to spare right now.
>>14967273
Cool, so let's do Diebuster as well.
>>14967169
For all his shit-talking about everyone and everything, he seems to truly love giant robots.

>a total hoe
And that's all for now. I'm going to make another dump thread once more booklets have been scanned. Here's a link to KnG's DDL folder: https://www.mediafire.com/folder/26g0isc1a75vn/mecha%20scans#26g0isc1a75vn
By the way, that folder includes the really grimy Gundam Wing Last Outpost manga scans that I once shared here. If somebody wants to properly clean them and make them presentable and upload them somewhere for e-peen, just go ahead. I wouldn't say it's a good manga by any means, but I do think it's worth archiving as a curiosity.

I can dump Diebuster BD scans if there's room in thread 2. Not nearly as many as your DVD ones
>>14967627
I'd appreciate that. The remaining booklets are nowhere near as long as the Wings of Rean ones. There's no date set, but we'll try to have them scanned and released before Christmas.

>that folder includes the really grimy Gundam Wing Last Outpost manga scans
Are they better or worse than the existing scans of the Tokyopop English version?
>>14967858
These scans aren't terrible. Levels will take care of the grey hue easily.
>>14967877
The grey hue is the colour of the paper Tokyopop used.
>>14967858
Assuming they're not based on the same scans (originally shared three years ago), whatever's in the share folder probably looks worse.
>>14964798
Possibly a question with no good answer but do they explain why the Mi Ferario in Rean are for some reason almost normal human-sized vs Cham-sized if it's supposed to be the same Byston Well?
I saw the first episode of Wings of Rean. I like both kinds of Tomino. This is the type of Tomino I prefer.
>>14970385
Different canon.
>>14970301
They're the same.
One more bump for the curious.
