It reminds me of the type B303 Devilfish or something from Xam'd.

VII generation is a generation with quite a lot mecha influences I guess.
I mean, besides Zygarde and Necrozma, we have a giant white lion called SolGALEO, partially Metal type, that apparently comes from another world.
I suppose GameFreak finally decided to pay back for that Pokemon parody from GaoGaiGar episode 5?
(Amusingly enough, it seems that the eight part of the GGG vs Betterman web novel, the one that was published just 2 days before Pokemon Sun & Moon official launch, introduced new mecha called 日龍 and 月龍, or Sun Dragon and Moon Dragon...)
