Anyone else think they should really have a stab at another Super Robot style Gundam series?
Wasn't that kind of Build Fighters?
They already did that so they won't do it again. The only thing they're capable of repeating is SEIG ZEON
Street Fighter and Dragon Ball both have to be as big as they were in the 90's before Sunrise can make G Gundam 2: Kung-fu Boogaloo.
We're only halfway there.
Yes, definitely.

You mean Autumn 95's Wing? You mean 03's SEED? You mean 07's 00? You mean God-cursed Unicorn?
Or are you one of those fedora-tipper who unironically thinks that Gundam isn't a fundamentally "super robot" series with few exceptions? Because if you are, you're an idiot.
0079 was super robot as fuck. I get it, "real robot" didn't exist as a genre yet, and MSG helped define a lot of the traits that would describe the genre. That's cool. But then Zeta, ZZ, and CCA all went full super robot, Having a sci-fi premise with a lot of very sci-fi concepts doesn't make a series not "super robot," especially when it follows all the conventions of something like Mazinger Z but with an overarching plot and a military setting. The only way to make Gundam NOT "super robot" is to remove Gundams from the setting or make them equal to other mobile suits.

Nah, it'd turn out pretty lame.
