The DVDs actually look much worse than what you see right now. You can't get any better as New Getter wasn't made on cells (early digital anime), so it had to be an upscale.

I actually like Devolution. Especially tying things back to Emperor and the mix of Angel/Invader angle they're going with the Devolved themselves. Plus the Linebarrels guys mecha designs are always nice to see.
