Alright why isn't there a MG Jegan? I seriously can't come up with a reason as to why there isn't one yet. there's tons of potential models that can use the same exact frame with slight variation, tons of P-Bandai material and its a major Federation grunt suit
>>14909005
suits in charge are dumb and lazy, they can only milk OYW stuff
>>14909007
but they made 3 ReZels MGs during Unicorn and that unit didn't do anything more than a Jegan
>>14909015
new design with anime running, kinda popular and transformable
>>14909005
The design doesn't lend itself to MG quality. If they did make a 1/100 it'd end up being a RE.
If you take a look at the joints on the arms and legs you'll see right away why it wouldn't work. They're extremely limited unless you completely ignore the artwork and design brand new limbs for it.
The unicorn got away garbage range of motion because of its obscenely stupid and extravagant transformation gimmick but something basic like the Jegan? Probably not.
>>14909022
>garbage range of motion
what i fail to see the problem with its move ability as a model. it doesn't have shit all over it, it doesn't even have skirt plates in the front or back. nor does its shoulder look like it'd be a problem either.
I don't see where you're coming from here.
>>14909022
If something as basic as the GM gets 8 MGs, I'm pretty sure the Jegan can get an MG. If anything the Stark Jegan could get an MG.
>>14909005
Why want an MG when theres plenty of HG Jegans out there? 1/100 is a wholly arbitrary and unnecessary scale.
>>14909005
Because Jegan is naturally unpopular. Look how many HGUC Jegans are just P-Bandai.
>>14909042
But that's an example for why it couldn't get an MG. The GM is pretty poorly represented in the MG line in general. There's about 20 MG Zaku variants in comparison
>>14909005
>I seriously can't come up with a reason as to why there isn't one yet.
It's very very simple.
Bandai feels there isn't enough demand for it and people actually willing to pay $30-50 for a model kit of it to be worth the investment.
>>14909094
but they thought 3 rezels of nearly the same exact design would?
asking for one jegan MG isn't crazy.
>>14909096
The Rezel design was more popular than the Jegan at the time. It was the hot new design that people wanted compared to 30 year old rehashed Jegans which were never an outstandingly popular grunt to begin with.
>>14909035
The way the elbow joints are the biggest issue. Even the HGUC version can only 90 degrees at the most.
>>14909111
you'd think with a great revival of the jegans showing up would have lead to a MG.
as you said its 30 years old its been out for an extremely long time many will have wanted for just as long
>>14909112
comparing a HG joint mobility to a MG joint mobility is a weird comparison.
>>14909115
You liking something doesn't mean it was popular in Japan. If Bandai didn't make it then its because they looked at the market and sales numbers and felt it wasn't worth the risk.
>>14909134
bandai is extremely weird with models.
>>14909005
C'mon now you know Bandai/Sunrise are Zeonwank.
>>14911554
but I just want 1 jegan MG is that too much to ask?
>>14913591
And I just want a RG G-Self, but it's not going to happen unless enough people in Japan want it.
>>14913627
why the hell would you even set yourself up for an RG? seriously they don't come out that quickly.
>>14913635
I just like the RG line. They look great while still are pretty easy on the wallet. I know it's unrealistic considering the timeframe and would take a MG instead.
Point is, I'm not expecting either anytime soon.
