It was pretty cute, OP
They did a good job using Mazinger footage almost exclusively from the intro.
Cute.
Man that was cute.I'd like to do that one day for my kid, assuming I actually get one.

Did Mazinger even aired in Argentina? There's any nostalgia for it there?

Yeah, lots of people saw it in the 70s-80s around here. It was very popular, so much that "Mazinger" is pretty much a way to say "giant robot".
made me smile.

Pretty nice, I liked it

As >>14910255 said, it was very popular and remained in the popular cuture here as THE giant robot. Even though I know stuff like Iron Man 28 was also aired here back in the 60s or early 70s, Mazinger caught everyone by surprise and became a phenomenon. Pic related is the ad for Mazinger Z on the theatres.
I'm born in 85, so I don't really remember a lot of Mazinger on TV, but I remember all the toys, shirts and other merchandise about Mazinger, I also had the toy on the OP pic (it was rather tall and it could fire its punches, easily one of my favorite toys from childhood)
