I'm not a fan of Gurren Lagann because I don't like the mecha designs, they are to obnoxious and pointy.

It's a popcorn pie-in-the-sky love letter to classic mecha anime.

It's bloated and tacky and trips over itself trying to get the point.

But it's a good show. I have it on my shelf and it comes out if I'm in a bad mood and need something to pull my spirits out of the dumpster

I think that KLK is the opposite of TTGL in that TTGL has a coherent plot but the only well developed character is the MC and KLK is the opposite. KLK was much more fun to me because the cast was all so much fun, except ryuko who got annoying as the show went on, that they distracted me from the plot losing its way.

They are both good but like I said earlier they are both 6/10, I might say KLK is like a 6.5 but I'm biased because it has my waifu. Pic related.

This is true. Kill la Kill is obviously a 5/10, Panty and Stocking is a 1/10 (and I'm being generous), and Space Patrol Luluco is 3/10.

So saying Imashi's shows are all 6/10 is very inaccurate.
