Hey just found this show and I'm in love was wondering how /m/ u guys concider it and how you rate it?
>>14882364
i give it 8/10
because unlike most of /m/, i went "hey i understood that reference" in every episodes
The board barely discussed it and only got like 1/10th of the references. If you wanted good discussion for it you had to go to /a/ which had nice weekly threads where they analyzed the shit out of it and found literally every reference and had in depth plot discussions.

It was meh
>slow pacing for the first half
>bounces around too often
>so much dialogue you can't keep track of everything
>tries too hard to be serious
>the music is utterly atrocious
>the cast is medicore
>no suspense
>final battle comes out of nowhere
>time travel shenanigans add another layer of confusion, almost rivaling Kamen Rider Den-O

0/10

the artstyle is incredible shit
I liked it
Honestly I enjoy the bouncing around the show does I was wearing thin on a lot of Animes and the toku elements In this show saved me

>The more references a show makes the better it is!
If only it was anywhere near as good as what it tried to reference. Maybe they should have spent more time actually making a good show.

T. f/a/ggots
Equis and Raito didn't get enough screen time but I found it enjoyable.
>>14882364
/m/ hated it because they were too busy talking about Star Wars and some other trash that it's welcome nowadays here
>>14882364
I liked it, generally. I'm sure a bunch of references flew over my head, and there were a lot of weaker episodes, but I really did like the show. 7/10. Mountain Horse is 10/10

Summed up my experience with it perfectly.
Reminder that, in what is easily some kind of cosmic error, the Concrete Revolutio manga, containing manga-original stories, is getting an English print release.

It was similiar to Samumenco, but this time it was Mizushima and Aikawa's love letter to old tokusatsu shows and 70s culture in general. It was fun, but also nicely put together. Intentionally jumbled story and storytelling approach of 70s drawn most people away but I loved it. It was weird, odd but fun as hell. Basically a story of a man who desperately clings to his old ideal of "justice" who is desperately trying to look away from the fact that it's relative and human-created concept. The whole show and thematic circle had a certain sad beauty to it, especially once you realize that in the final battle MC is about 30 years old. It had flaws, just like everything, and I cannot hold it agains people who gave up on it, but the show is worth it.

Guess I'll pass.

maybe Toonami is localizing the anime?

I loved the insane world it tried to build, and the main characters. Quality varied considerably, as is the nature of shows where most episodes are written by some people, and I wish the second season didn't have so many boring episodes about random one-off characters instead of continuing the escalation from the season 1 finale, but I found it enjoyable overall, and I have to give it credit for ambition.

Meant to say "written by different people."
