Well, nowadays anime movie series are basically what high profile OVAs were in the 80s and 90s, so I'm cautiously optimistic.

We need more Space Battleships and Space Jetfighters anyway. Don't get me wrong, I love me some bipedal mechas, but sometimes I want "Top Gun" meets "Battle of the River Plate". In Space.

Agree, we sure need more space battleship and starfighters battles, and the 2199 did those two pretty decently.

Also, those 7 movies will probably be some 3 or 4 episodes cobbled together in each one, to screen in tv as a normal series, later on.

Why are they smaller (around 250 MB each)? The ones on baidu are around 1.1 GB each. Were the images shrunk?
