Take a Gyan, put Dom thrusters on it like the Zudah has but have the tech be refined enough that it doesn't explode. Arm it with the beam sword, a bazooka, and a Pezun Dowadge-style beam scatter gun that can actually do damage. Call it the Gyan-Dom, laugh as the combat coordinators on both sides have trouble dealing with the name.

Those are variants of the RX-78-2, so it doesn't really count cinsidering the RX-78 was built by Anaheim electronics, I mean one that isn't an RX-78 retool, one that's built from scratch and completely standalone

Anaheim weren't mobile suit manufacturers till sometime between 0079 and Zeta and became a mobile suit company by buying up Zeon's manufacturing companies. They were in no way responsible for designing or building the original Gundam.

Fair enough, though in terms of a Zeon-made gundam I meant something that would be designed to counter an RX-78 that wasn't based on the already existing Zakus or their successors, a standalone suit that would be similar to a GM camouf or a zudah, allowing it to be much more agile and versatile than a bulky Zaku

But Zakus have been shown to be able to have good mobility through addons, such as the Zaku that Aina Sahalin piloted (which was a prototype for the Rick Dom's mobility systems) and the Psycho Zaku from Thunderbolt

Gundam Sisquiede and Gundam Dezpada were Zeon designs based heavily around the RX-78-2 and mixing in elements from other Zeonic designs which the Titans later confiscated and made their own so there's that.

Its the Apsalus, but with a Super Zaku Custom F2000 as a core unit. It has the big beam cannon mode, and a Base Jabber mode where it opens up and the Super Zaku stands on it surrounded by bazookas, like a mix of the GP03 and Unlimited Blade Works.

Remake of 0079, except not pretending to be something else and going on a bit longer. Lalah survives, Amuro gets the Netix and Char pilots the Perfect Zeong with her at ABQ, they join up with the White Base after fucking up murdering Kycillia, who awakens as a Newtype at the finale piloting the Psycho Salamander from that one arcade game because something about newtypes.

A ground-use newtype bit-control-type mobile suit.

A Driessen built into the back and cannon of a Xamel (with its own generator), with a mixture of tanks and petite mobile suits operating under bit-control.

The Pettie Mobile Suits each have a beam saber and set of missiles, half have twin vulcans, the other half have a beam pistol, and each mount a single Driessen tri-blade bit. The Xamel also packs missiles and sub arms, and can act as a "recharge" unit for the bit-tanks.

The Driessen has an improved flight pack (as the pettite mobile suits carry the tri-blade bits) and a gelgoog shield with anti beam coating mounted on a sub arm on each shoulder, which have hidden heat blades in the edges. Otherwise its got a couple of Gouf heat wires and its axes and triple arm cannons as normal,.

The "Sub-Unit Xamel" can detach and offer fire support to the melee focused Driessen while the bits orbit around at longer range and do bit swarm attacks.

It likes to fight in cities or other urban areas, with the Sub Xamel and tanks remaining outside the city for bombardment and area denial, while the Driessen and Pettite Mobile Suits engage in the streets.

Its like fighting an army under thought control of one person. Good luck.

(The secret is that Sub-Unit Xamel is actually the main unit, and houses a "Psychomu Booster", which is wire linked to the Tanks, which then are used to control the pettite mobile suits and Dreissen, but can only boost the signal enough to do so if the tanks completely surround the combat area. So all you actually have to do to win is take out all the apparently harmless tanks that act as psycommu-boosters. Its a trick battle, not a tactical army fight or a duel, you just have to notice the trick.)

What you're talking about is a Gelgoog, probably armored with Luna Titanium.
That's all you need.

A bog standard Gelgoog is superior to the RX-78-2, and already pretty close to every other OYW gundam except for the fuck-broken Pale Rider series and the Alex. It only really lags in armor and slightly in agility with on-paper specs.

So you just give a Gelgoog two things:
- magnetic coating from the Act Zaku
- Luna titanium armor

Give it a good pilot and you're done.

A prototype Neo Zeong equipped with Psycho Shards, I-field Generator and Twin GN Drives taken from an Extra Dimensional traveling mobile suit. It's armor is made of a thousand ELS.

For offense, it has a numerous funnels, a number of missiles and Mega Particle Guns.

A mobile suit equipped with GN Drives can detach after the Mobile Armor was destroyed. it's weapon includes a Sword Blade and numerous sword bits and funnels.

This Prototype Neo 00 Zeong can control the mobile suits that can be reached by its psycho shards. It is a full psychoframed mobile suit and the pilot needs to be bolted inside a mobile suit ala Alaya Vijnana Style so he can pilot it like his own body.
