It's a very low tier budget Gundam. The problem for them is that Barbatos has many details. It's a nice Gundam, but contrary to 00, they does not have the money, or the people, to animate properly.

while i can see that, i still think better angles for action scenes can be used while being cheap. while i hate the ones style he does close up action shots well, where when i see it in most shows they tend to botch direction and placement of actions and characters. plus you can cut detail while still making action scenes look good. it worked fine with victory and turn a when cutting detail in action scenes and only focusing on getting everything down to portray an action/scene more than character shots doing simple movements or poses.
i know the purpose of these character shots but i think its bad when they are over used. character shots are usually done a lot for the purpose to show off a design/sell toys/kits.

Sliding stills is a standard trick in animation since forever. Even the original Mobile Suit Gundam did it all the time. There's a reason that it's called "limited animation".

Yes, that one growing rotating image of Barbatos that everyone likes to repost does look a fair bit silly, but it's not like IBO looks that way all the time, it's just the single worst shot of the series. On the whole, IBO doesn't use sliding/panning stills any more than practically every other anime. It's a cheap trick that happens in almost every show and only gets called out by people who don't like the show anyway.

The really real is that this is the standard reaction to every new Gundam. When the next series starts up, discussion of IBO will be more civil because the shitposters will be in the threads for whatever he new show is. Two shows in the future, people will call IBO underrated. Three shows in the future it will be overrated shit again, but some people will fervently defend it because it was their first Gundam and is far better than the last three shows, and the circle of life continues.

With Eugene, it was because he tried to start shit with Orga. New guy, on the other hand, wanted to slap his girl. hence why the rest had to call him off before he broke his arm.

1. He and Barbatos are the most dangerous unit in the company, and saved everyone's asses several times.

Mika is very similar in some ways to Heero and Setsuna.

While a lot of Gundam protagonists go out of their way to ensure that enemy soldiers survive, I'm pretty sure that Kamille shed no tears for Scirocco and that Shinn felt no remorse for 'killing' Kira. In the Earth Sphere, Teiwaz keeps up the image of being a legitimate business. If they were too obvious in their dealings, Gjallarhorn would have no problem stepping in and taking them out.

People in-universe see Tekkadan as good guys. They have a good public image because of season 1.
