G-Reco, Gravion, Zoids Fuzors, Detonator Orgun, anything from Go Nagai, Ryu Knight, any yuusha series that isn't Goldran because it is mediocre as fuck, Cybuster, Super Robot Wars: The Inspector, Dancouga, Orguss, Gundam X, and Dai-Guard. I'd recommend Iczer 3 except you have to watch Iczer 1 first and that is kind of dark.

Nigga what? I'm 15 episodes into Goldran and it's fucking great. It's funny, the characters are cool, and the fights have variety. Are you telling me Goldran is less interesting than Exkaiser?

I dunno about fights in Goldran having variety, they all end in the same predictable stock footage finishing move. Still an entertaining series though, it's probably the most consistently funny mecha series I can think of.

I'd second this recommendation but I feel the second act was much weaker than the first.
Still a decent show, good mecha, good action, good music.

If you've watched Zeta and ZZ you can see some of the parallels rather easily, especially as the second act gets into gear and the Mark II shows up.
