Well, I guess there's people who are watching it late like me. Because DYRL doesn't explain many things of his own canon I have to look for things like this. On another matter in Delta DYRL and SDF are canon according to ep19, how this can be possible? Maybe because of DYRL, which was a movie inside Macross Universe, they think that the movie was what really happened?

I'm not sure, but there doesn't really need to be, because Macro is the opposite of Micro. Frontier is the most likely to have it if there's anything though, since Klan changes size occasionally and there's full size Zentradi farms.

A specific event(The war with the Zents, Sharon Apple, Protodevlin, Vajra, etc) did happen.

I like to think that Macross 7 is actually a downplay of the real in-universe events.

This makes the Michael/Klan relationship pretty uncompelling. In Frontier they're portrated as star cross lovers and shit but all Michael has to do is macronize himself. No big deal.

Were Queadlunns originally female only? I haven't seen SDF yet, only DYRL, but I was under the impression the sexes had their own distinct technology and aesthetics, so I was surprised males were using them in Frontier.

The males and females were both part of the apposing faction in SDF, the 3rd faction never gets screen time in SDF either besides the fact that the Macross belongs to them

Can confirm. Max and Milia are seen out of their suits both being of approximate size required to pilot them during Minmay's song.

I was talking about this chart. But I looked into it, and apparently she doesn't have an official height, its based off scenes where she's standing next to VF Battroids and is clearly too tall, so maybe it just comes under the usual Macross rule of 'don't worry about it, nerds'.

SDF macross was IMO actually pretty shitty despite original idea, DYRL focused on those idea and it created the recipe for Macross :
Mech fight, Pop Song, Love Triangle.
