The style of filming and music choices make the entire thing feel very dreamlike. I really dig that especially the music choices. I like the animated little things again its very cool. However the acting and dialogue feels very much 2nd year college student film project. Looks neat tho.

I know it's futile to complain about this in a kamen rider show, but I am worried about Ex-Aid's use of CotDs for the first quarter of the show, much like Ghost. This episode handled it better by showing little of them while keeping the threat real in actually putting their lives in danger, but I do hope they don't do this for every other episode.

The funny thing is, I actually am a 2nd year college kid, so it makes sense. I'd say the dialogue in the main series is a lot more focused though. The teaser episode had no script, so it was just me and a couple of friends trying to fumble our way though it. I have access to some "amateur" actors now, so the acting should be a fair bit better too, though you're still stuck with me.

Character of the Day. Ghost's 1st quarter suffered from cramming in random characters who solely exist to give form to hero eyecons, and then completely forgotten after being given a hug by Takeru. I'm noticing similar patterns in Ex-aid, except it is handled much better. I just hope it won't keep happening anyway, but this is a doctor drama, so CotD victims episodes are bound to be the norm.

Sorry to disappoint, but the whole boxer motif was scrapped in favor of a more delinquent fighting style. I can't promise anymore rocketo punches, but there's something like a rocket chair that I think will be a cool effect. One thing I can say for sure is that every character has a very unique fighting style
