The Federation were also interested in actually working with Haman to depopulate the planet and take advantage of her new regime.

Moon-Moon is an awful arc, I won't refute this. Even with the novels explination of Moon-Moon being made to jam many of the migrant workers involved in building the original Side 1, 2, 3 and 4 complexes into a colony out of sight and out of mind, it still does not excuse how idiotic much of the plot arc was.

They do. They send a fleet after Neo-Zeon's civil war wiped itself out.

The Gundam Team and the Argama didn't have a huge impact on the war besides swaying the emotions of some of the zeeks. The civil war was literally what wiped most of the Neo-Zeon army and its leadership out. Judau only killed like Rakan and Haman, and Haman only went out to fight him after the civil war ended and Neo-Zeon was in complete shambles.

Regardless if Sentinels events are taken as canon or not currently, the fact that the Federation was to preoccupied to deal with the Neo-Zeon and African Zeon insurrections at the time. Even after a task force of Federal Forces and the Argama crew managed to liberate Dakar from Neo Zeon control, the Earth had all but completely crumbled under Neo Zeons assault. By the time of Dublin Colony Drop being put into motion, the Federations upper crust had chosen to focus more on personal interest rather than protecting the citizens of the Federation, allowing Zeon to pull off its attack to deplete population and gain favor with the new Zeon government.

Despite how many aces and upper-level personnel the White Base crew managed to kill off, they alone were not going to be able to win the war. Many of the key conflicts in that war, including Odessa, California and the final push into Africa at the end of the war were all done via full fledged warfare on a grand scale. Even massive scale battles like Solomon and A.Boa.Qu were won by the efforts of the entire military, not just the White Base.

In regards to the Nahel Argama crew being sent off into space to fight Neo Zeon in ZZ, Judau and his lot stole that ship and were basically told they could either topple Axis by themselves, or die trying. Regardless of the result, the Federation got what they wanted. As said before, had it not been for Glemys actions, the Nahel Argama would have been destroyed within moments of entering Side 3 or Axis airspace.

Anyway, ZZ is just the Special Ops team. The only time theyre with the fleet is at Dakar. The grand action of the AEUG fleet moping up the tired Neo Zeon survivors happens offscreen basically, because its not their story.

If intelligence says you enemy is going to wipe itself out, why waste your own men and, more importantly, your own resources joining the fight, when you can simply wait and win doing nothing? Sure, maybe the battle would've ended sooner had the Federation fleet joined in, and fewer Ples would've died. But what are a few dead Ples to the Federation?

Honestly I think people vastly overestimate the numbers and power NeoZeon actually had. In Zeta Hamans ship was manned by soldiers with little experience remember? Not a sign of being mighty. Chars Neo Zeon on the other hand rallied many regular Spacenoids who felt this was the return of the Real Dream for the first time since Deikuns death.
