I was hoping for a made up word that best appropriates what they were going for, like how in Kyoryuger, gaburincho became chompachomp. Since it's basically just a sound effect spoken aloud, how about something like "ka-chack!" instead. It sounds chunkier like a cartridge clattering around, and it has more syllable to match up with "gashatto" a little better.

They build several belt props, some that are detailed but breakable for use in close up shots where that detail is needed, and some that are not great looking up close but are soft and tough to wreck for use in action shots. They need multiples of each because filming puts wear and tear on all props no matter what.

As for keeping anything, definitely not. Nothing goes missing from the prop department ever. Unless actors buy their own stuff, they never get to keep souvenirs.

So far, Excite's subs aren't bad. My only real complaint is that some of their wording is a little stiff. For example, in the cold open, a nurse says Emu's vitals are lowering, when it felt to me like it would have sounded more natural to say his vitals are dropping. I'm not a medical show fanatic, but I've seen enough Scrubs and E.R. to know they usually say dropping instead of lowering. Lines like this one here are a little jilted to say out loud. I know it's probably accurate to the original Japanese, but it just doesn't roll off the tongue well. You can say the exact same phrase a little smoother without losing the translation.

A while ago, I asked if gashats were actual games for sale in the world of Ex-Aid, or if they were exclusively for use in the Gamer Driver.

Well, I just noticed there are gashats on the floor of the Mighty Action X launch event. So yeah, these are probably the actual game cartridges they play in this world. Ignoring the fact that they're still using cartridges this huge for games, that means there's logically nothing stopping any rider from buying their own powerups at a Gamestop or whatever.

A lot of the time, it's not a matter of the actor liking or hating their role, it's just a matter of them moving on. To many, having a role in a toku show is a stepping stone to other things. Hiro Mizushima, for instance, is actually a pretty big-name actor right now. Playing Tendou again would be like a step down and wouldn't look good career-wise.

In many cases, an actor may very much -want- to come back, but their agencies just won't let them. Takeru Satoh and Renn Kiriyama come to mind.

Apart from money/fame/agency issues (you're never getting Tendou back, ever), one problem I could see is that early Heisei riders right now are at an awkward age-- not old enough to be Respected Elders or Cool Older Guys, but obviously not young and hip with the kids any more. Shouichi was back in the Decade movie at the end and I believe he reprised his role as a voice in one of the movies on top of being in every(?) Battride War.

Hibiki just recently came back to voice in Battride War after not being in the past two games, and they got a good chunk of the characters back for Decade, but it's been a while since I watched those.

Kabuto has Tsurugi and Kagami back in Battride War, and I think Kagami voiced his character once or twice in the movies as well.
